Dear MTS Members and Creators,
Some of you might remember the MOCCA and LATTE awards to recognise outstanding achievements in the modding community. The last lot of MOCCAs and LATTEs were some time ago, and with all the development in TS3 modding we have selected a new crop of award winners for us all to recognise. Of course, TS2 is still a big part of the community, and so we will not be excluding creators/innovators who continue to support TS2 for us all to continue to enjoy.
What are MOCCA and LATTE?
The MTS (award for) Outstanding Continued Creative Achievement
aka MOCCA - This is to recognise creators who have consistently produced excellent work, as well as those who have broken the boundaries of creative content.
and
The Lifetime Achievement for Tools/Technical Excellence
aka LATTE - This is to recognise people who write tools for all to use, and those who generally help in various ways in the community. Without their tireless efforts, we wouldn't be here at all.
This time, we are honouring the following people:
The LATTE Awards:
cmomoney - Many contributions to modding tools for TS3 and pioneering work on new techniques in object modding.
granthes - Has contributed many modding tools to make it easier to mod and play our games (Pets rig fix tool, Custom launcher, CCmagic.....).
atavera - The wrappers man. If you use S3PE/S3OC to mod TS3 then you use his wrappers somewhere.
Echo - A long time site member with excellent modding skills. Made the Postal Package Editor for TS3 and has contributed to many TS2 object mods made by other creators.
TSRW Team - Love them or hate them as you will - but TSR Workshop has made object creation a possibility for many new creators.
The MOCCA Awards:
Buzzler - A constant supply of interesting and innovative mods. He is very good at keeping them up to date as well.
Phaenoh - She has uploads in nearly every area of TS2 creations and is generally known for her ingenious modded items.
oepu - She made the move from TS2 to TS3 and has made lots of pretty items; we hope to see some more from her.
Criquette -Airports and Railways and Buses and Trams and Cricket Fields - TS2 neighbourhoods are transformed by Criquettes work.
Psychosim - Looking to grungify your game? Look no further. One of the lords of TS2 grunge.
ATS Sandy -Lots of variety and high quality items too - add her site to your bookmarks.
lidiqnata - a creator with her own distinctive style, inventive and fun items for your simmies.
The award winners will get a custom trophy and a little cup o' caffeine icon by their names.
Time for a big cheer and thanks yous for these talented folks, some of the many people who make our games so much more fun to play. We look forward to handing out more MOCCAs and LATTEs in the future!

Official MTS 2012 Calendar Contest Results
First things first! Congratulations to everyone who participated in our calendar contest. I know that some of you are old hats at contests but some of you were newcomers. Even more so, I noticed that, for some of you, your entry was your first post to the forums so welcome. Again, congratulations to a job well done for everyone.
Winners
Our winners are as follows:
Game Calendars:
Now that we have winners, we also went ahead and made the downloadable calendars for your games. You can find them:And last but not least...
Wall Calendars:
Calendars for you to print out for at home! There seemed to be a lot of interest in calendars for personal use so...they got made. There is one for each TS2 and TS3 so take your pick. Or mix and match if you'd like. They are in Simlish and have credits (in English) for each of the winners. There are no holidays marked so you can write and add whatever you'd like. Print and assembly instructions included. All documents as PDF files. Please enjoy!

Hey simmers!
Thanks very much for your suggestions for the next round of site themes! We had a lot of great submissions, and have trimmed them down to these to choose from. Please vote on your favourite themes (you can vote for as many as you want, but obviously, voting for -all- of them is just silly), and the top six will be used for the next six months of site themes.

Hihi,
as you were informed in the start of November, the monthly theme of December is...
Multicultural!
Holidays are coming close, at least on the northern side of the globe. Do your sims celebrate Christmas, or do they have Hanukkah? You can also make anything else that represents a culture, it doesn't necessary have to be about celebrating.
How to take part?
Make a Multicultural-themed upload. It can be anything - a lot, a sim, clothes, furniture, whatever comes to your mind, as long as it has something to do with the theme.
The upload process goes the way it normally does. You include required pictures, files, information... The only new requirement is that you include some of the following tags to your upload search keywords:- "theme-Multicultural"
- "Multicultural"
- "theme"
How long is the theme active?
The Multicultural theme starts today, December 1st 2011 - and ends January 31st 2012.
Have fun with the new theme!
What about the next themes?
The suggestions for the next 6 month themes are still open, go make a suggestion here!
And then, just a reminder....
Take part in the Official Calendar Contest!
The rules are up, TS2 here and TS3 here , you must hurry, there are only limited spots open for contestants!
We also had some really nice uploads on the last theme. Here are few examples, check them out!
You know, I looked and looked, but could not find any TS2 uploads for the theme. They must be hiding
