New hair colors.....

When you goto chage your sims hair, you first select what color you want, then all the styles for that color come up down below. If you make any custom hair, they all go in their own category. Any idea if at some point we'll be able to add new color categories? It would just be nice to have it set up like the eye section, where there is an icon for each different one.

Anyways, are there any hair color requests? Since i'm messing with it right now, i can make certain colors that you might want. I'm currently doing a light purple (violet) and have duplicated the first 4 styles. I can also do this same process with any clothes, makeup, ect. if anybody doesn't want to have to do the work themselves. Just request away ;)

I have a request, blond with dark highlights. Dark highlights, heh, just sounds wrong doesn't it. But yeah, that's what I'd like to see.

I agree with you on the colour categories for hair, would be much better. I hope Maxis (or the community) can fix this.

Oh btw, purple hair! I love it! I'd like it more if it was a shade or two darker though. Hint. Hint. :D

okay, i'll see what i can do for the highlights, though that will be a touch more difficult then just changing it all at once...hint, hint...lol. I planned on making a few shades of purple...don't worry ;)

I have Oodles, Doodles and Poodles Slut Sisters (which I had in Sims1) and they have Purple, Blue and Pink hair. They are married or will be soon :) to Dry, Fry and Cry MotherTruckers whom have matching hair colors (how corny I know--I love them :)). I had to search all over (I have serious EDD so it was fun to search....:P) for matching female and male hair to make them. Some of the styles I had to settle for suck, tho--especially the mens. :(

Great idea about the new categories and lovely hair! I'd just be happy if I could categorize custom hair into the appropriate color from the four existing categories-- it'd really clean up my custom folder if all I had to go through in there was the funky colors. Most of my downloaded customs would fit into the pre-existing categories, anyway. ~KG

I'd actually like to see a long dark purple/violet style for men. The closest I found to it was on TSR, and that was before I realised I wasn't looking in the free section :weep:

Actually... I think it's dead on to just leave it Black/Brown/Red/Blonde/Custom.

Are people *born* with purple hair, highlights, rainbow colored streaks? No. The color is for genetic purposes only. Hence why you don't see a multitude of rainbow colors up there.
