German Newspapers - Deutsche Zeitungen

I created 3 German newspapers (Bild, Frankfurter Allgemeine and Tageszeitung) to replace the original newspaper. As far as it only changes the textures, it should be compatible with all EPs. It also works without any EP, of course. Only one of the newspapers can be used at the same time.

This is my first upload, please don't beat me. ;)

Ich habe 3 deutsche Zeitungen (Bild, Frankfurter Allgemeine und Tageszeitung) gebastelt um die originale Zeitung zu ersetzen. Da nur die Texturen verändert werden, sollten sie mit allen Erweiterungen kompatibel sein und natürlich auch mit dem Grundspiel funktionieren. Es kann immer nur eine der Zeitung gleichzeitig verwendet werden.

Das ist mein erster Upload, bitte nicht schlagen. ;)

Ich lebe in den USA und habe die Englisch-Sprachige Version der Sims, deswegen bin ich echt froh, dass jetzt mal "ein Stueckchen Heimat" in mein Spiel kommt !!! Waere echt cool, wenn Du noch mehr (typische) Deutsche Sachen kreirst! Ich werde Ausschau halten !!! ;-)

tja, die BILD ist halt die meistgelesene zeitung deutschlands...;) und das ist bei den sims wahrscheinlich auch so...:giggler:

ich werde alle zeitungen runterladen und je nach dem welchen haushalt ich spiele eine andere zeitung nehmen, die dem niveau des haushalts entspricht... :D

well, BILD is the most widely read newspaper in germany...;) and the sims maybe also read it most...:giggler:

i'll download all newspapers and, depending on the brainpower of the household i play, chose one... :D

I never realized that we're not allowed to write in any other language, than English...sorry... Won't happen again (even tho nobody wrote anything that could possibly insult or offend people who don't speak German...). But rules are rules, I guess. I'll watch out in the future. No other languages allowed on MTS2? Okay, I guess it makes sense. But I liked all the german replies. (BTW, risewiththefallen, you are pretty good.)

My first reaction was "arrrgh, bloody BILD of all things!" But you are right of course, it's probably the highest selling paper in this country. (Scary thought.)

Thanks for this clever mod! They are so beautifully detailed; I like downloads like that a lot more than dramatic ones which are a bit slap-dash.

Now I'm thinking of a newspaper mod with some of the "Wixxer" headlines...

Oh, thank you for saving the freedom of opinion.

It's terrible enogh that all German sims automatically get the "Bild", but know they can also have the taz or the FAZ and that's certainly an advantage for all sims with a higher education and intellectual abilities.
Just for all the English or American members: The "Bild" is a terrible tabloid comparable to the British "Sun" while the FAZ is a conservative quality newspaper and the taz is politically left but also of very high quality.
