Sims 2 "Power Espresso" Add-On
Made by SimCutie (Version 1.1 / 2004-Nov-07)
This is add-on to regular "Espresso Machine" object in The Sims 2 Game by "Maxis".
It will fill all the needs/motives and aspiration
or selected indivisual needs of your sim.
Unzip the ZIP file and install "Power_Espresso-SimCutie.packge"
to Sims 2 Download folder. Generally, "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads".
Install while Sims 2 game is not running.
To remove the add-on, just remove this file from "Downloads" folder.
This is not new object, but add-on patch to pre-exsiting Maxis object.
After install, run Sims 2 and Buy new or use exsiting "Espresso Machine".
(The buy item icon will not have asterisk ("*") -- same as regular one)
Clicking on the Espresso machine, You will see
three new additional Pie Menu selection:
1. "Platinum Aspiration" will set Sim's Aspiration level to maximum platinum.
2. "Max All Needs" will fill all the needs to the maximum (except Environment)
of selected sim like Merola's "Enegerziger Picture".
3. "Max a Need Select..." will show Sub-Menus and you choose an indivisual
needs to maximize from 7 motives like Hunger, Fun, Social, .., Energy.
And this espresso coffee has much stronger flavour.
It will fills twice as much body energy than ordinary ones.
(about 1/6 of full energy for each cup)
Baby and toddler sim can not use this machine.
It won't work when the machine is out of order or in power outtage. :)
It supports 5 lanuages (English, German, French, Spanish, Korean).
This add-on uses codepet from "Enegizer Picture" by 'Merola64'. Thanks Merola!
( <merola_64@hotmail.com> http://www.simchaotics.com )
I also would like to say special thanks to 'Quaxi' who made SimPE,
the wonderful Sims 2 modding tool, 'Inge Jones', 'Carrigon' and

This is wonderful. I always play the sims becaus eI like manupulateing people and makeing my own sitcoms. However, TS1 &2 allow for me to make a genral idea and hacke dobejcts liek these laet me make people sponatiously combust and whatnot. it's sitcom-meets-big brother.

Some people like objects like this because TS2 can be a real bear at times when you're managing many many sims. No need to rag on it because you don't agree with the use.

So does the language with this object actually show up in English?
I think it will. Since the options are the traditional ones in the Sims (bladder, hungry, etc)
Is just that the uploader of the thing is playing it in Korean.

I've had this since it came out and I never said something... so I just wanted to say it's my favorite MUST HAVE hack and I tell everyone it's great on other forums too. I love it. For anyone who thinks it's "too much" you just can not use it or just use it in emergencies or whatever, nobody says you use it non-stop all the time... but it's there if you need it too.
It's my favorite. Thanks.

This is an excellent hack, thank you so much, my simmies love their coffee, now they can have some extra boosts at the same time LOL but I do wish they'd put their empty cups in the dishwasher instead of leaving them all over the place.

I plan on creating Sim 2 to reflect my life (from the hubby to our lil' one) and my husband, of course, is such a java fiend, this is something I know our sim house hold (and too bad we couldn't have something like this in real life) could not be with out!

How can I remove this? I downloaded some houses and this came with them.(plus some other objects.)
The machine is nice but I now have a game problem. My aspiration meter falls at the same slow rate as green even if it is platinum. I have deleted all other objects I can find so I am guessing that the Espresso Machine is causing the problem.
Help please?

This hack replaces your expresso machine - so that once you have it in the game there is no way to opt out of it. I never downloaded this but it is in my game - probably from some house that I downloaded. I really thik that there should be a way to prevent this sort of thing happening. If you want to make a hack - fine. Goody for you. But don't make it a global hack that acts as a sort of virus that spreads and ruins the game for hundreds or even thousands of user. Sickening! when I think of the trouble that I will have to go to find this file on my computer. You should have a disinstall program. :(

Meant to say so before. Downloaded this hack a while ago. LOVE it... have most of my sims wired 24-7.
Although sometimes I let them sleep to try and change their 'goals' if it's something I'm just not gonna let them do( like fall in love with a married sim).
I've tried it once with a kid and it worked fine... but I prefer to let kids sleep. However a boost before school is always good.

Be careful to rejuvenate your favourite toddler. He went right back to the beginning of being a toddler and lost all his skills gained from the toys and was not toilet trained anymore nor could he talk or walk. I feel that this should be fixed. Otherwise I love this hack. Thank you for the work.

Just one quick reply. I did some spring cleaning on my computer after adding some new hardware (that's format for those who don't get it) which resulted in some collateral damage done to files I forgot to backup. Among those files was this incredible hack. When I started playing the game again yesterday I noticed this hack was not among the ones I had backed up, so I promptly quit the game and crashed (it was 5:00am after all!) When I got up today I rushed to the nearest netcafe (no internet at home) to re-download it. Yep, that's how useful this hack has proved to be! Once again, hats off!

I have downloaded this and tried it, it worked fine for adults but for a child it only offered to max asperation level, no boost in energy was available, my poor child was tired and I had to have him take a nap instead.

It's not supposed to work on children, only teens and up have the privilege of becoming caffeine junkies...eeeh!...using the machine I mean! Speaking of which, where's MY damn coffee (crawls back to work...)?!

Same thing happened to me. This hack appeared in my game somehow (must have been a house) and at first I was unsure of it. But I must have deleted it while cleaning up, cause now it's not there, and I sure do miss it in the game.
So I'm glad I found it again. Can't wait to put it back in the game.

Well, OFB has rendered this hack a bit wonky. When it is installed in the game Sims become obsessed with the Espresso machine! If you don't direct your Sim to do something they will want to make Espresso.
