I thought i'd make a thread for people to submit request for custom skins. I'll keep a running list in this first post of what has been requested, and what has been finished. First of all, i'd like to ask the community for some volunteers. I need people who are good at making skins. Post here in this thread if you are interested, and i'll keep a running list of the people who will help. When skins are done and ready for download, i'll make a post with a screenshot of the finished skin, and a link to download it. Also, after requests are made, i'll delete the posts so this thread stays nice and neat. The only posts will be this main one, and the posts i make for finished skins.

So, to summerize, i first need people to help make skins, so let me know, and i'll add you to a list in this main post.... ;)

If any of the skinners on my list (or anybody else for that matter) want to start any of these requested sims, just let me know and i'll put a (*) next to the ones that are being worked on. This way we won't have 2 people doing the same skin. Just let me know which you want to do, and i'll mark it accordingly. Here after i get done with my RL work (data entry, UGH) i'll see if i can't try and do one of them myself. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I like the Native American Idea, that would be cool,I think zombie skins would be cool to , you could make them ghost and they would look more scary.and my own request is a chrome skin tone that you could make androids.I've seen the white droid skin but the chrome one would look cooler.

Its the girl on the right, the one with the long (pink?) hair wearing the fishnets. Basically the outfit would be skintight, would have the studded collar, white, pink or red top with black shoulders. fishnets for the arms and full black gloves. Then below the tanktop is more fishnet, then a pair of white, pink, or red shorts, more fishnet and then black boots.

I love the outfit she has on and think it'd be an awesome Ravers outfit. The color of the tanktop and shorts could be white, pink, red, blue, purple. (Hoping for 1 in red and 1 in white) It would be great if someone could do it. I used to be a SIms 1 skinner, but so far I'm not that great with this new program.

A simple anatomically correct Vampyer skin thats not screaming white? A very pale skin with a pink tinge? Maybe even slightly blue tinge. The white is nice but hard to play in game. I have 2 skins I use that have no anatomy and it's rather depressing. :o

Hey, I've posted this request like 5 separate times over at the Sims2.com but ppl don't seem into it. What I'd dearly love is a skin done of Linkin Park's lead vocalist Chester Bennington :cool: , especially those awesome flame wrist/forearm tats! I'm obsessed! I know he's got like 15 tats now or something (wish he'd slow down, I can't keep up!) but what I'd most love is the flames and the Koi fish on both shoulders. I'm adding links to give you the general idea. If anyone can do this I'd idolise the ground you walk on... name the neighbourhood and I'm there! I would love a blueish skin color or if someone could point me to a tutorial that teaches skin colors and ect. I really would rather do things myself. Though the skin will be a light Royal Blue and looks a lot like Ice Elves. I have found a few downloads but one was way too dark, another didn't go through all ages and the last was really gray! ^_^ Thanks! I also have to agree with claire768, I love facial peircings. Its on the Maxi's offical site just do a search in the sims exchange on pirate and restrict the age to elder. Two will come up the Red Elder Pirate is the hacked mesh (the other one is my recolour)

Hi, I've been searching for what seems like forever for authentic ancient egyptian clothes for both women and men. I've found lots of "egyptian" women on TS2, while very beautiful, none are exactly what I was looking for, and there are NONE for men. I have tried creating my own...but...lets just say...they were awful. :blah:

What I'm interested in is...
For Women:
Noble: Sheer white pleated linen dress, gold belt & sandals,multi-color beaded broad-collar(necklace), gold earrings, bracelets, elaborate wig

For Men:
Noble: white pleated kilt, multi-colored belt/sash, gold sandals, multi-color beaded broad-collar(necklace) or pectoral, armbands, bracelets, elaborate wig

So I've been wanting to make a 1950's Cleaver style family, but the problems is there are really only two dresses in the adult females that come close to the style and there just plain aren't any outfits AT ALL that would work for a teenage girl... I don't know about all you out there, but I am a woman and I love big bulky sweatshirts. I think I have probably ten from old navy and champian. 1 and 2: The in-game pics are of the Adult Uniforms. He/She also did a Female Teen. I need a male teen one.


3: I was also hoping someone can take on doing the ones in the photos as well. CY San Jose wears the Yellow Jackets and I know a few folks interested in one. The other shirts are other styles. The Logo is on all of them except the black sweatshirt.

4: I'm the guy standing. I want the RED Sweatshirt done as seen. The back has Spirit-Discipline-Purpose-Pride where City Year would be located on the Jacket (in smaller font so it can be read up close). I also want the shirt my teammate, Kari is wearing done.It's a button shirt with a small City Year logo on the Right pocket (left if you are wearing it).

Please, someone who can make hair - could you make the combination of these 2? Like say use the bouncy ponytail hair and shrink them so the bounce yet? There is one thing that has bugged me bad about hair in SIMS 2 - no one makes female sideburns (like in the pic here). I mean even the Goth stuff doesn't. I thought it was hot to see this attracive cyberpunk girl with a shaved head and nothing but blue bangs and sideburn hair done to sharp points. Anyhow the woman in these pics is Yuko Ogura - she actually did wear her hair like the anime girl in a music video (she sings the end theme). In the anime the little tails in her hair bounce... that is why I liked the idea of using the bouncy-ponytail hair and seeing if it could be shrunk (so they still bounce) and then add the length and bangs and sideburns (sideburns being a seperate item to add to other hair). Please!??!? Please Gelfling... Gelfling be frrriends.... a bit-o Dark Crystal there for a moment.

I love the idea of anime skinning, if I had enough know-how and programs - that's what i'd do. the FullMetal Alchemist would be great! I think it would also be good to do just... say parts, like Cat Ears and little angel wings like in Pita Ten. Is it possible to make Cat Ears as a full face make-up? so you can put it with ANY hair? Tails would be nice too. I would like to see hair do more than just putting a different color on it.

I have a character, created for my writing, that I have been trying to replicate in Sims 2, and I have been fairly succesfull, except for her clothing. She's not fond of overly feminine clothing, and I'm looking for a looser white T-shirt skin, something that does not hug the figure as well. A light windbreaker would be a big help, but is not important. Any one who could help me (as I do not have an eye for making clothing) is greatly appreciated.

What I find sad is when people post "Normal People Pics" and ask to have it made... I mean really. Is it that hard for them to tweak facial features? I can understand asking for Tatts or something - maybe even the hair, but I get tired of looking in the SIM downloads to see only normal SIMS that look something like a star due to facial tweaking. Yet they might reject an anime character that took some creation to make. I don't mean to rant, but if I want Mel Gibson - then I'll make him. Not post a pic and say please make it for me. I want space used here for creations not tweaks and MAXIS hair re-colors... sorry I wish I had the money to afford Photoshop, but I don't.

I may try to make clothes sometime--I get the feeling it's a bit difficult, though . . . so I'm wondering if anyone else (who CAN do such things) loves LOTR too . . . I would dearly love to create an Éowyn Sim and have her wear that gorgeous white dress (and the long brown one, and the one with the vest in ROTK, and . . .) Éowyn's clothes are my favs, but the elven ones are gorgeous too, particularly Galadriel's. I think hobbit clothes would be too difficult, probably (they're farther up on the leg than most pants to give the ill-fitting look).

Also, I was able to get a pretty good Chloe approximation as an adult (I think--but I didn't save it and she's an elder now :( will have to do again sometime, I suppose), from Smallville, but Clark's face eluded me entirely, and I didn't even attempt them as teenagers, which is the age they're supposed to be right now. I'll try again, but if anyone else wants to do SV characters, I'd LOVE to know about it. Clark's clothing is easy to find (plaid, hehe) but Chloe has some weird outfits and it was hard to find anything like what she wears. Anyone want to create some, or point me to some that's identical? (in case I missed it somehow)

The mesh limitations are horendous, I started a couple phantom skins, but they aren't that great because of the meshes!

I'm not able to make new skins- for whatever reason, Body Shop is all messed up and of course I've gotten zero help from EA on fixing it. I want my tattoo available on a skintone for my Sim ladies. I added it to a tank top once, but I want a permanent one!!

Since this website has anime section and the skinning work I've seen is incredible, I wanted to put in a request for some characters from the anime Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (known as Ronin Warriors when it was dubbed for US tv).

I'm looking specifically for the masho (pictures are included below). Full head skins would be awesome or just certain features would be nice.

-the cross shaped scar on the "blue" character. this is what I've been dying to get and I just don't have the artistic skill to do it myself. something realistic while still maintaining the cartoon-ish boldness.
-the eye patch on the "white" character
-on the "green" character there's a line following the eyelid crease with purple between the eye and crease.
-for the girl, there's a bold red eyeliner
-hair for any of those four would be great. i know meshing is still limited but are their any hair designs out there that could be recolored similarly. the hair isn't a priority for me.
