In game CAS not working properly

I just installed 'Open for Business', my Body Shop out of game is working wonderful, however while in the game, I go to create a family, all custom content shows fine (clothes, makeup, skins, ect), the sim however is invisible. I can turn them and move them as if they where there, but cant see them. everything else in the in game CAS is working fine, just the sim figure is not showing up. I have searched the threads for hours and havnt seen any answers to my problem.

***found the trouble, it is somthing in my custom content dl's, am going through them now to find the culprit***

After I removed the insiminator and the inteenimator mine showed up. Good luck!

The InTeenimater is not compatible with OFB. DO NOT USE.

InTeenimater was the culprit in my case. As soon as I took it out it worked great.

i've been having the same problem but i have no hacks? i put in just a load of clothes and no change. i'm begining to lose hope.

Make sure you have no hacks by scanning your downloads folder with the clean installer. You can pick up hacks with wrongly packaged houses, especially from the exchange. With the clean installer all hacks will show up red.

Problem solved, i used sims clean installer to move all clothing to saved sims folder. Now it all works fine.

grr! i had the same problem, but before i read this i uninstalled the sims 2 and now i cant reinstall it!!! >.< stupid open for business i havent even gotten to play it yet, any ideas?

Silly question...does the clothing still work after you move them to the Saved Sims folder?

My problem with CAS was apparently caused by DMA. I had deleted Inteenimator earlier, which apparently fixed my missing Control Panel and sims not answering the telephone.

I'm having a similar problem. I removed my "hacks" folder and retried and still have a problem.

My problem is that I can create a sim in Bodyshop but it doesn't appear in CAS afterwards. If you remember, a little * would appear in the area where it says "existing sims" (or something like that). Well no * where the sim shoud have been. My saved sims folder has 4 imaginary sims in there (my 4 attempts at getting a sim to show up in CAS). I've even tried packaging the sims to my desktop and manually installing them to no avail.

What else can I try? Also, is there a place where we can learn the ins and outs of bodyshop? I don't even see a help menu in it.

Had the same problem after installing OfB.
I removed Inteenimator and now it works fine.
Hopefully, there will be updated version soon.

If the problems continue, its best to go about reinstalling the game again, however, backup your EA Games folder to another place, so that the game doesn't accidentally overwrite it like it did to mine. I've lost 3 years of work because of a stupid expansion pack full of bugs.
