Reinstall of back up files

I have all eps. I backed up my game and uninstalled all eps including original Sims2. I have reinstalled all but instead of using the original Sims2 I used the Holiday Edition instead. My question is will that have any effect on reinstalling my backed up files?

No. The HPP isn't an ep, its a content pack. It doesn't change anything.
