Photo Album ? and OFB ?

I have two questions:

1) I have a photo album in my game for a family I am playing. I want to upload the photo album to my own personal website (not the Sims2 EA site). Is there any way to do this while keeping the format and my original captions or do I need to go through and save all the pictures and design my own photo album? In other words: can I pull the entire photo album out of a folder and put it on a site?

2) I have a business on one of my residential lots. I have one employee to restock and while playing I noticed she would walk across the street from the lot. I thought she was just avoiding her work of restocking so I followed her to where she was going and noticed that there were a few "restock item" signs on the corner of the lot. I deleted the items there once she restocked them but they keep reappearing. How did these items from the shop get to the other side of the lot if I didn't put them there? Is there some way to prevent this?

For the second one- can you answer a few questions? I'm trying to find out if this is a Maxis bug, or if it is caused by a certain hack (I have the same problem in my game).
Can you please tell me what hacks you have installed in your game? Also, were the restock cards that appeared across the street for Maxis items or custom content? Were they on Maxis stands, or on a table/ floor before they 'migrated'? Also, do you ever click on your sim/ employee and select restock, or do you usually click on the stock card and select restock? Is your restocker a Servo or a Sim?

First off, thanks so much for directing me to that message on the forum. That will help a bunch.

Second, I've never installed any hacks, the restock cards are for maxis items (flower arrangements my sim made), they were originally in the refridgerator shelf that came with OFB but I did use the move objects cheat to put them there as I could not put them on there without it. And lastly my restocker is a sim that I "assigned" the job of restocking to. I just noticed that you can assign the job of "tidying up" to one of your employees. I wonder if this may fix that. Maybe it is just a matter of messy customers carrying the merchandise around. Maybe I will try that tomorrow and see if that solves it or not.

momentarilypink, thankyou for the information. Could you do a little experiment- do not use moveobjects on when you place your items, instead use them only on displays that they will fit on naturally, and only Maxis items. I'm wondering if the moveobjects on bit is causing this.

Hey, I think I can help with the research. First of all I did a complete reinstall of all four games, without any costum content hacks or saved games. Then played a while and the restock signs would migrate.
I had my controlled sim do the restocking and I didn´t use the moveobject cheat. Some objects were on counters, others on shelves. So far this happened without costum content. I tested a bit and this is when it happened: Only when I deleted objects still for sale in buy mode, or if I deleted the restock sign in buy mode, actually it is not the sign, but the sold object, with is visible in buy modeonly transparent. I had a beauty salon and decided I wanted to sell stuff, too. I bought champagne and put it on a counter and some flowers that I put on a shelf. Then I decided I didn´t want to sell items anymore and just deleted them, but I realised later that two standing restock signs had appeared on the far end of the lot.

I now have put costum objects and hacks in the game and the same thing happens. The only hacks I have in the game are from MATY and were cleared to use with ofb. I had a toy shop and didn´t want to sell sir-bricks-lot anymore. Unfortunately it doesn´t seem to be possible to stop selling something you at one time had in stock, even when I waited for all of them to be sold and didn´t restock then deleted the empty shelf with the restock cards, the out of stock sign would appear at the end of the lot again.

I hope this is what you were talking about as I don´t think is has anything to do with who is doing the restocking and how, but just with deleting stuff. I had this happening on all the four business lots I was playing with and without costum content in the game and I have never used the moveobject cheat to place items for sale.

That is excellent information, abel1980, thankyou very much. I had linked it to the moveobjects on cheat through my own experiments; I was replacing maxis bud vases for larger potted plants, and getting the error only if I put the replacements in an 'impossible' position- one which required moveobjects. But this ties in with what a lot of people are seeing- it's very interesting, and your information is very valuable!
