Recent Server issues

Hi All,

You may have noticed a lot of downtime in the past few days on MTS2. I'm working to track down the cause of the problems which seem centred on the database server, and hopefully should have it back up and working in full form soon.

Just a quick note to say thanks to everybody for being patient, and we hope you continue to enjoy the site regardless of downtime!

Just to un-confuse people, the reason the search feature isn't working is that Delphy is
working to track down the cause of the problems!!

I've been driving my husband mad logging on & off to see when MTS was back online. I have made so many friends around the world thanks to this wonderful site that I just couldn't stand to be cut of from them. Thankyou for providing such a wonderful forum for us all to see that no matter where you live, we are all the same.

Okay, not trying to be a pain, but every time there are server issues with MTS2, it gives me a page asking me to refresh or 'inform' the webmaster. When you click the 'inform' link it opens an e-mail but with no address for sending it to.

Just something I noticed in passing - I wouldn't use it because if I've figured out there's a problem ya'll are miles ahead of me, but someone might need to e-mail if they happen to be the first to notice the issue.

Thanks for all the hard work you do to keep MTS2 up and running. I really do miss it when it's gone, and can't say thanks enough for the enjoyment I get from the forums and the downloads. :D

Aaah, what it actually says is that an e-mail has already been sent to our wonderful staff - so no need to worry! But yes, you're right about the blank mailto link. Maybe the e-mail address stole a toothbrush and jumped out of a window...

The reason there is no mailto link is becuase my mailbox gets totally spammed if there is one.

Make a new one... you'd never check it but it could make people feel better! Like my website address, you just get an autoresponse saying I'll reply in a week or so. (That's kinda excusable though, as my website is pretty non-existent at the minute)

Thanks,Delph.............though I think the reason why the server is flopping around is someone has been slipping the hamsters powering this site some of your ale........so they get drunk,and start flopping around in their hamster wheel,thus not enuff power........LOL

I hope that you get the site fixed soon i am having a lot more fun with my game now trying different things from the website. I even tried the buy mode tester in my game and i love it.
