Pets won't visit community lots

Hi everyone I just wanted to know how to solve this problem.

I placed the petpark in my neighborhood and then went to try and take my dogs to the park. There are only two adults living in the house and there are two adult dogs and two puppies. The two adult sims will get into the car but neither of the adult dogs will go with. The "Go to Community" icon will appear but will then quickly disappear for the dogs- the sims will get out of the car but then I have to use the boolprop cheat and force error on the car and the driveway to get the buy mode, build mode, save, etc. to be available again.

Please if anyone has any help/a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. Maybe the dogs do not leave because of the puppies?
I've also deleted all of the hacks non-compatible with Pets also so I don't think it's those.

I'm suspecting that the adult dogs can't go because of the puppies since you can't leave babies at home either. Have you tried it on a lot where there are no puppies or kittens?

Hi, I am having the same issue. I have all North American Version. It is only happening when I adopt a Pet. If I buy a pet in the Store, then they will go. I also bought a leash, but cannot get out of owners hand,
PS. Mine does not have puppies.

Still no lucky. Guess it is one of the EA Bugs. Hope we can have it fixed soon.

Hi,im also having the same problem.I have a house with 2 adult sims and two adult dogs.They did have two puppies but i had already adopted them out before i tried to take my two sims and two dogs to the pet park.My two sims get into the car and my two dogs 'want' to go as the icon 'go somewhere' comes up but then it fades away,pops up then fades away and keeps doing this.Then my sims wont get out of the car so i had to do 'Move objects' and delete the car with sims in it.They then turned up on the front lawn and were fine to keep playing.I thought it might be because i was using a custom car but i tried it with a Maxis car and the same thing happened.I dont know what else to do...

Hi again...
My pets still wont visit community lots,i dont think it has anything to do with my downloads though.Also,i forgot to mention that i dont have any options to Find A Job for my pets.Theres no options coming up on the ocmputer or newspaper.Is anyone else having this problem???
Is the Find A Job option for pets found elsewhere???

The find a job problem is most likely a hack conflict- back up your game and try with your Downloads removed. If you already tried that then try with a clean Sims 2 folder:

Hello every1!
I'm also having the same problem with my pets visiting community lots.
I've tried everything suggested above, including installing a clean fresh install on another computer, it still didn't solve the problem, my pets cannot visit a community lot even on a fresh install on another computer......

I know this is off-topic but my vampires cannot bite anyone at all, even after a clean install on anohter computer, everything else with my vamps works fine though....
