Hey all, While going through the classics I had in my library, I came across Deus Ex. Now we all know that DX had some good music, and I saw a club scene.

This got me thinking that it would be awesome if I could have a club like room in my house. Now I don't know if there is a way of clubbing in the others, I remember having a club-like arrangement with the original Sims. What I am looking for is to have wallpaper that "absorbs light" and then having lights that could flash to different frequencies (think of the spectrum analyzer found in winAmp or similar)

Now I don't know a package file from Peter Parker, so I have been desperately looking for ways to edit the light properties and also to create custom lights/walls/whatever.

Can anyone a: point me in the right direction or
b: run with this project?

I downloaded SimPE and so far know how to make all my sims feel good and be smart. etc.. Nav to the neighborhood and look through the list of sims in other words

Thanks.

Have you read this thread (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=103817)? It is about lighting in TS2.

That is what the Object Creation & Texturing (http://www.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=114) is all about. Practice, practice and more practice....go back to the tutorials any time you need to refresh your memory.....and feel free to ask questions about things you do not understand. I certainly did not understand everything the first few times and made a lot of errors before I started to grasp how it works. A good way to learn: you try things, learn from your mistakes and ask questions about things you do not understand. :)
