Alright, I have a bit of a problem with my Bodyshop right now.
As far as I knew, my Bodyshop was working just fine until I downloaded the new Pets EP Bodyshop Patch from the EA site and installed it. The installation seemed to go smoothly, but afterwards when I clicked to open Bodyshop, an error window came up which read:
"The Sims 2 Body Shop has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienience.", and then the typical 'send Microsoft an error report' message.
I read a "My Bodyshop is not working!" Tutorial and tried deleteing Group.cache and all those files reccomended, and nothing worked. I rebooted my computer-- still nothing.
I also should note that my computer itself had been in the repair shop for two weeks recently, though I would be surprised if that had anything to do with it.
What I'm asking is, is there any way that my Bodyshop can be repaired-- without reinstalling my Sims2 game or expansion packs completely? Will I have to download Legacy Bodyshop instead?
Thank you, please help!
