Can I Do This?

I am not sure if this could work, but I have an idea. I would like to make a mailbox that would be placed on the house, like the kind you see in cities and larger towns. I was just wondering if it would be possible to create on that would function like the Maxis one. If anyone could tell me yes or no, that would be great. Thanks

Yeah, you could probably do that. Just have a look at the bhav functions of the original mailbox and then you could probably create such a box with a mesh looking like the mailbox in town.

Now the second question. Is there a tutorial on BHAV's and such? I think I might be in over my head with this one.

If you decide to do it the easy way simply hit your cheatbox and "moveobjects on" and "boolprop snapObjectsToGrid false", move your box to your house and position it in a way it looks like the box is on the wall. Then "moveobjects off" and "boolprop snapObjectsToGrid true" and save your game so everytime you go to the house the mailbox will always be there. ;)
