okay, I've been playing for a week now. I have gone through and removed all conflicting hack and downloads. Which wasn't meny. I had a house hold that went into Autumn. So with a big smile, I waited for the falling leaves. And while they fell, they didn't stay on the ground. None of them ever piled up so I could rake them. I took all downloads out, and still didn't make get this interaction. I even added a ton of trees. And nothing. Can anyone help? I've been all over. Oh, and I get no fish in the aquarum or the pond. Not sure if that helps.
Thanks.

This will hopefully fix the fish in fishtank/pond, assuming your card can do it: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=197507
Have you removed ALL user content - not just downloads? Rename your The Sims 2 folder to The Sims 2 Backup as described here? http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139718 ... does it work like that?

Alright, that fixed the fish problem, lol. Kind of strange to see a pond that was just blue all of a sudden having little swiming things in it. Cool through.
I followed the other thing, renaming my sims folder and stuff. when I started the game it created a completely new game, well my neighborhoods were gone and the four that are now there, strangetown, vernonville, those. No saved sims or anything either, it was like playing the game for the first time.
Still no ablity to rake leaves. They still disappear, and I'm at a loss as what do now. I have taken out the most likely folders to cause problems. Have started from scratch. I baffled. How long does it take for the leaves to pile up for raking? I mean I went through a whole Autumn and watched the leaves fall, and they disappeared. Is it a fluke? I'd rather not have to reinstall my game. But I will if its the last resort.

I worked all day, and in the end I uninstalled, and then re-installed my game.
I backed up my sims2 folder. the one in mydocuments/eagames/sims2. I then uninstalled my game. Started pets again, then reinstalled Season. I went in and made sure that it was working, which it was.
I then took my neighborhood from my saved sims2 folder, placed in the new sims2 folder, checked again. I checked the game after each thing I did. After that I copied downloads, saved sims, and projects to the new file. And it worked. I don't know if it was a glich when I loaded the first time or not. But that's what I did after hunting through the files and not finding it.
I was happy in the end, cause I didn't lose anything.
So now I have fish, in the pond and in the fishtank, and I can rake leaves. Which is way cool.
