How can i see my neighbors when playing a family?

hi, i'm new to the site. not so much new to the game. i had the sim 2 for a long time and decided to get the installments. Anyway my friend she has University and business. when you play a family of hers you could see your neighbors. i have all of the games but i can't see my neighbors. what should i do? :cry:

You need to adjust the Lot View options; set the Neighbors to display as on.
