NL quiting

hello peeps, I'm relatively new to simming, just 2 months now, but completely immersed. yo.

Night Life is quiting when I enter a lot I am trying to build.

I just installed NL. Got it to work, but only after <b>not</b> installing Aspyr NL patch.
I moved a lot I am building over to the NL hood in Strnger, and started to build more. All good.
I quit S2. On re-entering lot my MacBook Pro (2.33 GHZ-Core2Duo & 2GB) quits. (bummer)
I removed my downloads folder to my desktop. Game still quits.

I've been reading the forum posts all day, and thought for sure just yanking the custom content would've been the cause, but what now?

Any ideas?

ps: I know, I need an avatar, but right now I am way to addicted to stop for that.

ok, I gave up on building for awhile and decided to check in on my dollys. I Can get into every lot except my most recent one. Grrrrrrr.
This was a totally playable prior to the NL install.

It could be that somehow that lot got corrupt. Try building a new one, similar to the old one and see how that goes. Sometimes lots just get corrupt. Since everything else is fine, I would doubt it's from NL.

And I would recommend the NL patch. Install it, then restart your computer. If it still doesn't work then reinstall NL on top of the patch... the patch will still be in effect.

I have 2 lots that will not let me in. So you think both lots are corrupt? Both these lots are the largest size available, and the only multi-story structures I have built thus far. I built only one other structure. This is a one story bldg, on the largest lot. This lot lets me in.

Well, it seems the logical thing to do is build a fresh multi-level bldg on a large lot and see what happens.

I installed the NL patch then reinstalled NL. Luws! this worked!

I only have one multi level lot done, so I'll need to report back later.
