Just to clarify, as I have only read hints and rumors, I have the S2CPI and love it to view whether I have duplicates and whatnot, (rarely use it to actually install except for lots and sims as I like the Qxpress and am not sure what would be better) however I do want to create more subfolders to organize my actual downloads folder beyond the floors, walls, game objects, object recolors, and so on. Is it true that I can now create folders for hair color, meshes, eye color, ect. since I have base game and EPs up to Seasons? :help:
If so this would be very helpful indeed!

http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Organizing_Custom_Content Found in the Wiki. :) Life is much easier with an organized downloads folder.
ETA: Use this guide for downloading. To be truly organized, you really need to do this manually. It's easy peasy.

Those guides are very helpful for someone new to CC for SIms. I have been downloading for years and the S2CPI hasn't updated their page on the packages that can be subfoldered ( that I know of, I checked yesterday), beacause of this I left all those other files in the main folder and it drove my usual OCD self crazy. I am glad for the clarification on the ablilty to now move those things into their own folders in order to keep track of the all. Thanks!

Well, the cleaninstaller is no longer supported. So, we're stuck with it as it is. :/ But, using the manual method to download and install, you should (in the future) be able to really get OCD about your downloads folder. LOL

I am now using Delphy's Download Organizer to help create the subfolders I wish to have. I haven't yet tested the game to see if it will still load. I was attempting to use DJ Sims Compresserizer (saved over a gig on Game Objects alone) but then I read that it conflicted with the DDO but when I reloaded the Organizer it went smooth. Bring on the OCD!!!!!
