Hi, I've cloned from the cube shaped stackable shelves but the mesh I made will not stack on top of eachother, it has a shelf size of large so I'm not sure why it won't work, anything I can try to fix it would be appreciated
here is a picture of the shelve I cloned from and my mesh that won't work

Hmmm... this is strange, on the lot with no sims these would not stack but I just placed them on a lot with sims and they stack, why would the maxis ones stack on a simless lot but not my new mesh? I'm super confused now.
Ok, its only stacking with move objects on and only on a lot with sims :help:

My guess is that either the stackable shelves have the wrong placement options, or more likely, that it is checking the object's GUID. As a test, try and stack one of the original shelves on top of one of your custom shelves. Now try the reverse (one of your shelves on top of the original shelf). What happens?

Thank you so much for helping me here...
I just did what you said and they would not stack on each other at all
but with move objects on they did stack on eachother, but 3 high worked If I was placing my shelf on the original, but it would only stack two high if I was placing the original on my new one

Have you made any changes to any BHAVs? Maybe changed the supporting weight of the objects, or their placement attributes?

No, I just cloned them from the white cubes pictured, after they did not work, I did run the scan folders for the shelf placement to see if they didn't have them, every item I make that I cloned from something placeable on ofb shelves doesn't automatically place on a shelf, I have just learned how to set the size of the objects so they will place on a shelf, so I did check that, but it was already ok, it said large for shelf size, so I didn't change it.
I really appreciate you helping me out here, this particular creation isn't all that important but I'd really like to be able to learn from it so I can make more shelves that stack in the future.

Not sure what post your clone means, do you want pictures of the item in game, or pictures of the screen in simpe in different screens so you can read the settings? or did you mean you want me to send the file somehow so you can see it for yourself?
happy to do anything here just to figure out what I'm doing wrong

This looks like a self-referencing object issue. There's a tutorial on fixing them here:

I can see one GUID referenced in the "function - prevent placement in slot" BHAV, which is probably the one causing problems for you in this case. :)
