Huge problem with Clean Installer

I downloaded the latest version of Clean Installer and installed it without trouble. But every time i try to install a sims2pack file with it or individually run the program it just wont open! I tried downloading the latst .net version but it wont work. I read the other threads but it didnt help...
A message appears but because i have the greek windows it wont help to post a screenshot of it. Generally it says that "a problem has occured and the application needs to shut down.If you were in the middle of a project you may lose any non-saved data.We're sorry fot tha inconvenience." I've tried installing and uninstalling CI a couple of times...i tried installing the content with an earlier version of CI but it didnt work either...
any suggestions??

ps: i forgot to mention that the error message doesnt contain any numbers or codes or anything of the sort (because i read others had this kind of trouble)

First thing I'd suggest is to uninstall all of the dotnet framework versions you have installed, and then reinstall them. Sometimes an error can arise if you have a corrupted file somewhere.

I did that, but i only downloaded the latest version of dotnet. do i need the rest of them too?? i installed it but the error message still comes up...i also tried replacing the reg files but it didnt work either... :(

S2PCI only works with .NET 1.1. It does not work with any other version, so you must have 1.1.
