So there is a download to make your households hold up to 50 sims/pets and I was wondering if anyone could help me out on it. The creator of the script hasn't been on since January of 08 so pm'ing them won't do me any good...

Now, I'm making a movie and in my school I want to have a whole bunch of students and teachers ONLY but I can only move up to 8 Sims in the school even with the cheat installed. The creator has a link to a page here at mts2 about the userstartup cheat but the link is broken so I can't read it to see what it says about changing it so it'll work.

If anyone is using this cheat can you PLEASE help me because it's not working and what do I have to add in my userstartup to make it work or where do I put my download? Any other important info I'm missing?

Thanks :D

ps; sorry if it's in the wrong place - I was never good at finding where things go in forums.

You can only create 8 sims on the lot. You will need to move the others into the household thru game play.

Suggest you create 2 households with 7 children & 1 adult. Make the adults fall in love & then move the households together. 14 kids is a lot! You could kill off one of the adults or move them out if you feel compelled to only have 1 adult. However, you could stage your shots so that no one need know there are 2 adults living there. (In the movie you could even build a subplot around the other adult.)

I know you can create them, I've made a whole bunch of families with the students and I currently have 8 in the school but I can't add anymore into the house from Neighbourhood view.

Do I have to move them in by the "Move In" when selected on a loved one?

uintProp maxTotalSims 18 # Default: 10
uintProp maxTotalHumans 18 # Default: 8
uintProp maxTotalPets 6 # Default: 6

I added that too but nothing's working. Do I just copy and paste all of that and stick it in?

I don't understand why it's not working for me :SYes, you just past that into your UserStartup.Cheat file. I do not yet know if it is working for me, as I haven`t had occasion to add a ninth person since I added that to my startup file.
Nothing's working for me.

Does it work when you're on Neighbourhood view that you can add sims or only with Move In through Propose?Like I said above: I do not yet know if it is working for me, as I haven`t had occasion to add a ninth person since I added that to my startup file.

GeneralOperationsDirector, for some reason, cannot post in my thread so thank you for the help via pm :)

It has been a while since I played with that hack -- so many sims was just too much for me. (Probably because I'm a Sims control freak and run everybody's lives & they are all over achievers. )

When I used it, it was just in my downloads folder and not incorporated in a start up script. I only tried expanding my families by natural birth & move-in - that worked for me. I never tried the neighborhood combining of families.

I have Pets & below. Don't know if it works for later EPs.

Yeah I'm using Apartment Life right now. I'll use it through Move In and stuff.
