EA Download not working, Asking for CD

about a month ago i downloaded the Apartment Life game. It played fine at first. but now it has started asking me to insert a CD in order to play the game. which I dont have, because I downloaded the game from EA Download. Please help, thanks. here is a screen shot:

I've looked on the EA technical help and drawn a blank on this; all I can suggest is to backup your download and reinstall the EA Downloader. If you can, redownload the game and try again. Also make sure any firewalls, antivirus programs etc., are set to allow traffic to and from EA Games.

I'd also suggest disabling any disk emulation etc. software you're running, as EAxis' anti-piracy measures are a little hyperactive and tend to get confused easily...

Thank you for your responses. I have uninstalled all my Sims2 games and I am now in the process of reinstalling them from EA link download. Hopefully they will work again. I'll edit my post and let you know. Thanks again for your help.

ETA: It worked! I also checked my anti virus thing and it was trying to block it after reinstalling it and turning the game on. So I guess it was a combination of things keeping the game from playing from the get go. Thanks for all your help.
