View Full Version : Is it possible to have two alpha texture maps for one clothing mesh?

I've done just about everything I can think of to get this outfit to recolor properly without distorting the texture map. It seems as though my only option is to split the mesh up into multiple texture maps. How do I go about doing this in milkshake, if possible?

Yes, it's possible, but requires fairly advanced meshing knowledge to do so. Tig has tips at the end of the third Unimesh tutorial that help with alpha meshes which is pretty much what you need to do - you'll need both the recolour to expect multiple groups, and the mesh set up properly with those multiple groups.
