I am having a problem with my mesh and map. Echo generously gave me a bit of direction for the joints - and i believe I have those right, but I can't get my map to function properly. I have my obj mesh mapped properly when I initially imported it into the package. But when I go to attach my joints my map gets all screwed up.
Both left and right packages are attached. Each one is doing something different with the mapping. Also, I noticed that my GMDC's do not retain the naming conventions I used when I group everything back down to two pieces.
What am I doing wrong? Do I have my joints connected correctly or am I missing a vertice? The attached photos are what it looked like prior to reassigning joints. Now the mapping is a mess.
