I am trying to create clothing using pictures. I dont know a whole lot about it and using the one tutorial they give you dosent tell you much. I dont know how your supposed to make t shirts the only thing they show you is a tank top. Does anyone know of any better tutorials?

The same basic concepts shown in the one tutorial about tank tops apply to all photoskinning - use large, high-quality photos (and never use ones that have clothes laid out on a table with rumply wrinkles - clothes on a person work much better), cut into pieces when necessary to fit the bits into place on the texture, and blend the edges well. Other than that it's really just a matter of finding excellent source pictures and practice.

Have you already read Faylen's four basic clothing tutorials? They don't cover using photos right away, but they do cover basics you need to know whether you use photos or not. You also should take a look at the tutorial about exporting UV maps, especially if you want your edges / straps / collar to line up correctly. The tutorial about previewing clothing in MilkShape is extremely useful. You'll find all that in CREATE -> TUTORIALS -> RECOLOURING -> CLOTHING
This is probably the tutorial you read:

HP has written a rather nice intermediate level photo skinning tutorial here:

when a texture comes out blurry, I use the sharpen effect(photoshop) and it works great. I dunno if for all textures, but I applied it to jeans and it ended up great. ;)
