I am sorry if this is in the wrong category. The subject of this post is to recolor. I could have sworn there was a tutorial or thread here somewhere that talks about making non-recolorable objects into colorable objects, but I can't seem to find anything in the create section anymore. I have been trying to find a way to make the mahjong table recolorable. I came up with 2 ways that it might be possible.
First one would be to extract the mesh, material definition files, material override files, shape files and maybe even the geomatric node files from a different table and put them into a clone of the mahjong table.
The second one would be to use a different table altogether and extract all the behavior files, function files, animation...etc.
Does anyone know if this could be done this way  and what exactly I would need to extract to add to the other table to make it work? Or if anyone knows of a good tutorial about this kind of thing please let me know where to find it because there are a couple of other items that I would like to make recolorable that have this same problem.
