Seeing as I had no internet for a week, I managed to pick out more than one thing

Parents can "disapprove" of their kids jumping on a bed. Can't remember what they did but I'm sure they put one hand to their head and shake their head.. or something..

Someone already mentioned it but I just recently discovered kids can do a "static shock" without Uni

A Sim can have a "bad mouth" option under talk. I saw this once, can't seem to find it anymore :/ Didn't want to try it as she was pregnant with his baby so.. lol

I know that toddlers can react to the stereo and "dance" (while sitting on the floor) but when you have the music set to metal, it looks like they're having their own little mosh pit (I had 6 toddlers so... :smash: ) I didn't check if they danced the same way for any other types of music, though.

Bad Mouth only happens when you are furious with another sim, so you badmouth the sim you are furious about to everybody who will listen.

I discovered I need the "no baby harassment" in my Black Widow challenge. I had twin girls. The firstborn is very sweet, while the other one inherited her mother's 0 nice points. All the visitors to the house kept picking up the first baby, while completely ignoring the other one. When she transitioned to toddler, she was already friends or best friends with 5 or 6 people outside the house. Even during her older brother's birthday party she had the guests taking care of her. (No wonder her brother likes to tease her. I suspect her sister will not get along with her either.)

Do you happen to have a cowplant on the lot? Because if a sim eats the cake from the cowplant another sim can drink their "remains". I think it works like the elixir of life.

Waitresses can get tips. I was doing a business and sims kept handing my sim tips (i think thats what they were) and then a little pop up comes up saying "HEy, thanks a lot!" ....

Louis did a strange visit to his father's house. He rang a doorbell, then stepped back and made this strange persuading motion with his arms. It looked and sounded like he would have been saying: "Come on, come on, come on. I'm here. Your favourite son. Come and give me a hug." I took a video clip of it =P.
Actually this happened a long time ago but it still puzzles me because he's the only one who has done this.

A child with low nice points was playing with his twin sisters, who are toddlers. With the one with no nice points he only had the option to tickle her. But with the other one he only had the option to tease her. (This is the same toddler who has people who come to visit Mom dropping everything to give her a bath or a bottle.) He also had the option to static shock her, but not her sister.

ALWAYS "Dispose" viruses you make with the biotech station. If you don't, they eventually get loose in the lot and cause havok. I was trying to kill a sim by disease, but I ended up having to spend two sim weeks fighting disease in everybody else on the lot too. And roaches.

Active child sims are very hard to cure of disease if they weren't tired when they got sick. They prefer to bounce on the bed rather than relaxing the way they were told to.
Then they get worse.

Medecine doesn't seem to cure disease any faster than not taking it. Maybe all it was doing was preventing the disease from being fatal, as the sim I was trying to kill did eventually die, while everybody else has (hopefully) recovered.

I have discovered that when Sim A is cheating with Sim B, don't move in Sim C. When you move in Sim C with Sim A, the cheating continues. Sim A had a DREAM date with Sim B and she kept the flowers. Sim C discovered the flowers (with help from me) and he became furious really quickly after he cried softly. Sim A and Sim C were still in love/crush, but he was really furious with her. My bad...

Depending on a Sim's relationship with another Sim, the 'Ask to leave' is different.... sometime's it's "Say goodbye to" [if the score is higher], and sometime's it's "Ask to leave" [if the score is lower]. Or maybe it depends on the time of day/evening - but I think it's the relationship scores. Either way, interesting.

I just discovered (before my game crashed in the middle of something important) that sims can anonymously call other sims for dates. It just happened for me for the first time in my game and I was like, "whaaaat?!" Anyway, when they call for a date, the icon (a woohoo symbol in a yellow border) in the queue will say, "call/ask on date" or something similar. Then, the sim that called will move outside to wait for their date. If you run your mouse over the icon (same symbol) will then say, "wait for booty call." The sim (booty call) will then show up.

Only reason I discovered this was because my sim had just called the father of her baby over and the booty call sim at the same time. I had to shoo away the booty call before she screwed up her baby daddy woohoo. :)

I read up a bit about the medicine in the game. Apparently if all you have is the base game then the medicine is beneficial and does help cure a Sim faster. Unfortunately the code seems to have got broken in subsequent expansion packs so that it no longer has any real use. It doesn't make a Sim worse but it doesn't make them better either.
I think the coding was too complicated for the person who wrote all this up originally to be able to figure out how to fix it.

That's ACR doing that, I think, isn't it? They get horny and, lacking anyone on that lot to woohoo with, call up someone else for a "booty call". If you leave them be, they'll go off and woohoo.

Then a sim fish on another lot as a visitor they keep the catch, checked the inventory of a sim with no access to fishing but had fished as a visitor and she had multiple fishes.
Fishing is a social activity and a excellent way to build friendship without having to micromanage them, the same way as putting them in a hot tube. Fishing together has the advantage that you get the friendship as bonus while doing something useful.

If you have fish just laying around in your yard, he'll come at any time of the year :) I dunno if you had fish laying around or not, but that is one way to get him to come if you want him to come back lol. *sigh*

I had this problem. I found it was conflicting with a phone hack that I had. I just ended up deleting the custom cellphone as it was causing more problems than need be just for a little cellphone.

The move/rotate lot function is an icon in the lots bin that has been there forever. You have the one to bulldoze a lot, one to put a lot into the bin, and the one with the four arrows that will move or rotate it.

I have seen Grand vampires on community lots at 7:30 at night. Usually when I don't want them.

If you have the version of Inteen that allows you to try for baby with a townie, if the townie gets pregnant it qualifies as a new sim the next time. I had a Romance sim whose first and twentieth sim he woohooed with were both the same Contessa. She also gave him a "woohooed with 10 service sims" memory. (He also got the maid, the gardener, and two store clerks pregnant. Each of those counted as double as well, but I didn't realize it until he got PermaPlat from the Contessa.)

It wasn't actually today but before I scrubbed everything and started over with just the base game I noticed that the social bunny that had come to visit my asylum challenge sim was talking to another social bunny that looked ghostly. My sim was ignoring the bunny at that moment in time, actually I think he was being treated by the doc, and I wonder if the social bunny needed a social bunny?

I know I took a screenshot. If I find it I'll post it in the pictures section.

The ghostly Social Bunny will have been visiting another Sim with low social. If two or more Sims have low enough social then they each get a Social Bunny of their own. If you have one of the low social Sims selected then you can see their bunny and any others on the lot will show as well but see through like ghosts. If you leave the bunnies alone then they interact with each other.

Today I noticed that when your sims are asleep or at work when the speed is at the fastest. if you zoom in really close on a certain part of the house that doesn't have anything going on instead of viewing the house from father aways the game runs faster.

Also if a sims woohoos with a sim on a lot where someone else there has romantic relations with them they will run to the bedroom and throw a fit and shove and slap they two sims.

She had three ElectroDance Spheres, three DJ Booths, two Busts of Tylopoda, 3-6 copies of a bunch of random cheap objects; one each of random expensive objects including the "Florid Font" fountain, cheap hot tub, a pinball machine, etc...All the things in her Inventory save for her cellphone sold for a total of 55,742 Simoleons!! It was ridiculous. This must be a glitch...or else she's a hoarder .

Plant Sims might stay as visitors in many days, I had one who went to my pond to fish and I believed he had gone home, nest day he was still where and some family members joined him, later he joined in some other activity before going back to fishing, he left the next morning.
Probably his needs were fulfilled by having company and water from rain. Believe he left because he was lonely because the other Sims was sleeping.

Right. I have Inteen but I didn't command or click for miscarriage. Does it happen randomly?

It depends on your mood I believe. The better your mood the less likely it is to have a miscarriage. I also read somewhere that if you did have a miscarriage the chance that you get another one is higher, but I'm not sure about that.

Oh yeah, what I've discovered lol! I was playing in Olive Spector's old house (in my game, she's dead now) and one of the ghosts popped up- Lyla Grunt. Sometimes the glow effect just gets stuck. It does it on adults too sometimes if they use the aspiration reward that lengthens their life, although that goes after you reload the game.
Is he still gaining skills faster than normal? I read there's a glitch that stops the effect of the smart milk running out sometimes.

I learned that dogs (I'm not sure about cats) bark at their reflections in standing mirrors. You can try and catch them doing this randomly, but if you use boolprop controlpets on, you can click on the mirror while the dog is selected and pick "Pet Reflection".

Lol, when I first brought my real-life puppy home for the first time, she saw her reflection in a shiny dishwasher, then ran towards it to play with it. She hit her head against it. ;)

In the Sims, I discovered that after installing Nightlife, almost every married sim I have got whatever their spouse was as thier turn-ons (i.e., a fat blonde woman's husband got "Fatness" and "Blonde Hair" as turn-ons).

I discovered yesterday that pets lick rainwater puddles, and one of my arrogant Sims is a sneak thief (and not a very good one at that)! No, he doesn't have a job as a burglar - I was on a different lot and he comes walking past. I was about to get my active Sim to greet him, when The Arrogant One started to look around him furtively (even though the house owner was talking to the postman right next to him.).

He stood up straight and I thought strange but figured he was going to walk away. But no! He suddenly crouched on the ground to steal the newspaper and then ran away with it,.

The house owner - and the paper boy - both started to shout and point at him angrily, as he made his getaway,.

Influencing can give strange results, I influenced a guest to hug the teen daughter in the house, the guest selected leap into arms that are not enabled for teens even with teen woohoo mod. He fell on his ass and was not amused but it doesn’t matter because I was amused :)

I discovered just how funny ageing is on the Sims. Don Lothario is now a adult (not elder!) great grandfather - all because I got bored of him since he moved in with his new girlfriend (who happens to be a maid) after she gave birth to another of his children - a girl I think. So now that toddler is like a great auntie... or something. Hehe I don't like it when that happens for long, so I'm afriad I'm going to have to age the toddler up, and perhaps get his girlfriend pregnant again before I execute him. His children are always good looking, so I do want to preserve his genes! :haha: I might even find my most beautiful Sim in Pleasantview and get her to have his child, I do like breeding my Sims for fun xD

That aspirationally-low children can fight their siblings. Today I had a child who had the ability to Attack her brother. She has a 0/0 relationship with her (and his is very low with her) and has eight nice points, but had the ability to Fight him. He has fewer Nice points than she (five) and had no such ability -- he didn't have ANY of the Fight options. The difference is that he was in gold, and she was aspirationally bottomed out because her parents had just divorced. (The mom found out that the dad was trying to have six children...through one wife and three girlfriends.)
