Spore - wrong key?

I bought Spore online because I was too impatient to go to the store and buy it for almost half of the price...
But when I try to log on to go online it first tells me that my product key is wrong, and then it tells me that my acc. dont have that kinds of privliges.
I have emailed EA, but it will take them some days to answer me, so I was kinda hoping if annyone here know how to fix the problem!
As some of you might know there is no key when you get the game online.
Im so confused! Lol! I want to play :weep:

I could have saved about 40dollars on buying it in the store... doubble :weep: for me...

When you buy it online, you get the key in your email (or so I've heard).

I've looked on the Spore forums and they have 20 pages of people complaining about connectivity issues - including it erroring about the registration key. It's not just you, and it's probably not a problem with the key. It's their problem that they really need to get off their asses and fix already.

Yup, I get exactly the same problem when I try it.

I'd say it's a general issue with thier servers and nothing we can do to fix it.

Ugh.. How annoying!
And my neighbour, who also is my brother, is playing Spore and being annoyingly happy about it. Grrr!

Wonder if I can get a discount for the innconvinence! Rofl! xD

BTW, you can still play offline even if you can't login when the game starts - you just can't download any new content or view your achievements.
