“Ohmigodohmigodohmigod….” The redundant mutter rose to float between varied sighs and frustrated moans.

The sun seemed to shine brighter than ever that Friday morning as a hurried seventeen year old Ashlyn ransacked though her bedroom, gripped in a panic-stricken search for one omitted iPod.

By now it had been well into the spring months and the teenager’s heart palpitated with the excitement of her upcoming birthday in which Travis had promised a brand new car of her choice, so long as grades were kept at a satisfactory level.

At last a smile danced blissfully atop freshly glossed lips at the discovery of the treasured possession and with that the girl was free to leave, but not without a compulsive glance in the mirror just to make certain every strand of hair was in perfect unprecedented alignment.

In the bat of a lash she had darted into the hallway, peripheral vision had died at the hands of preoccupation and in about a second’s time the girl felt her body collide with another’s followed by the unmistakable thud of two skulls smacking together.

“Watch it b*tch!” the darkened- eyed girl’s tone possessed a certain iniquity as she sneered through tightly clenched teeth her face forward and palms held out to perfectly portray the intimidating demeanor in which she had so lovingly adopted.

Ashlyn could practically feel Dahlia’s eyes searing straight through her flesh but the efforts put forth against failed to overpower this once frail girl.

“Oh! I’m sorry Dahlia; I wasn’t expecting to see you…. I mean, I thought freaks like you couldn’t be out in the daylight.” the feigning sweet tone spilled effortlessly from a pair of smirked lips just before her eyelids sunk to form cruel slits which framed irises nearly burning with odium.


The other girl gradually leaned forward to bring her face less than an inch from Ashlyn’s, “Do the world a favor, Barbie and go jump off a building or something.”

Her retort was simple; a flick of the hand while eyes cast toward the ceiling.

Ashlyn Thayer stood tall and cross armed on the landing, seemingly basking in victory as she closely gazed at the one descending the stairway.

It was then that a loud vibration pulsated through the atmosphere, the only sound being present as it began hissing wildly in her ears. Even after everything it continued to inflict itself upon her as conviction from a broken soul crying in remorse, but her heart had hardened greatly, steadfastly finding comfort in remaining numb to her very own pleas.

In about a year’s timing, Ashlyn’s outward appearance had changed greatly, but the even bigger transformation had taken form on the inside, twisting and distorting the once youthful innocence which she had acquired in the days of deficiency.

Some would say she had been spoiled into her new life of luxury, others would say she is on the path of self discovery, or even perhaps just as simple as going through an immature teenaged phase.

Of course all of these possibilities were greatly overshadowed by the quite arguable notion of her new found father, who in a selfish effort to ease his own guilt, was superficially making up for the years that had vanished from him so long ago.

The strong rhythmic clicking of stiletto heels on solid flooring ascended outward in waves of adoration and within a matter of seconds all voices were silently perched on immobile mouths while every eye had wavered to stare at the striking blonde who stood in the cafeteria doorway.


Although she wasn’t quite sure as to how it happened, somewhere along the line Ashlyn had found herself being one of the most admired girls in her aristocratic suburban high school, although having a father who owned a reputable recording studio was without a doubt the only plausible reason for such a thing.

The atmosphere was cool yet possessed an inviting quality, the glint of emerald eyes scanned throughout the space in a dedicated search before finally coming to rest upon a table consisting of three other girls, each perfect in their own pretentious way.


Indeed everything in her life had spun completely; it would make one curious to know if she still remembered what it was like being once the graceless outcast which shrouded her confidence not so long ago… but that Ashlyn had long since become nothing more than a vapor of obscurity, she had died so morosely that day decaying along with the past she had so longed to wipe from memory.

The girl soon found herself in a collage of pleated ruffle skirts and manicured finger nails engaging in ineffectual routine gossip.

“So I can’t believe you’re finally turning eighteen tomorrow, Ashlyn! We should totally do something exciting!” the brunette chimed like that of a chorus girl, overly exuberant in appearance as per the norm.

“Well wait…” another girl by the name of Jodie interjected in a cool yet exasperate manner, “Ashlyn, isn’t Ryan going to do something with you? I mean you have been going out for like five months now- that’s practically a year.”

Ashlyn made brief eye contact with the boy sitting at the other end of the room, as usual he was seated with a large group of guys engaged in some conversation that held no interest with girls but managed to take a second to exchange smiles.

“Uhm… he’s got practice.” She replied flatly, her eyes shifted to the left in slight embarrassment as she lightly drummed her fingertips on the firm tabletop hoping to change the subject.

Ryan was one of the high school’s star jocks, and thus felt solely devoted to athletics leaving only a meager amount of time for his girlfriend. Though they were attracted to each other, one could easily assume the relationship was merely just another rung to conquer on the social ladder.

“God, what is your sister doing?!” the third girl, Corinne, remarked coldly as she shot haughty glances toward the farthest corner of the room.

“Half sister” Ashlyn abruptly corrected in an icy tone, “and I don’t know… she’s so weird, and her boyfriend always looks like he just got his ass kicked, is that like some new goth/psycho/'I think I'm a badass' look or something?!”

Dahlia had since continued leaving the house at peculiar hours of the night, engaging in what only could be left to the imaginations of Ashlyn’s spiteful thoughts. Having not only dramatically altered her appearance, she began socializing with a group possessing a rather alternative form. They staggered in between labels and stereotypes as they were quite different than the rest of the students, proving to be exactly the ideal persona in which Dahlia had absorbed herself so comfortably.

The truth of the matter was that her heart had become brittle and bruised, weathered by years of self rejection as one often is when lost in a world seemingly consisting of slithering serpents where evil is formed on the tongue and gleaming eyes to cleverly mask blood stained razor blades.

One thing was for certain, in spite of their ongoing conflict, the girls were engaging in the same battle as they both struggling to shroud their true being.

“Oh! I know what we could do- there is the new club opening about two hours from here and it’s supposed to be amazing! We should all go tonight…” suggested Corinne in her usual domineering tone; she was the one of the group who stood out as being rather frank with her choice of words.

As the other girls nodded and grinned in agreement, a half smile skated its way across Ashlyn’s slender visage, she would much rather go to someplace local but speaking her mind had rarely gotten her anywhere with this particular crowd.

As each day passed she felt herself becoming increasingly frustrated yet working ardently to wrap it with a pleasant smile and a calm demeanor.

As her thoughts continued to swerve negatively, something abnormal came over her. It was as if a flood of emotion outwardly out of nowhere seized the teen carrying her off into a state of unnecessary panic.

All at once her limbs had stiffened nearly rendering her body immobile, she could sense a large welt take form in the core of her throat, swelling to seal out air. Though clearly unprepared and terrified, the girl had felt this before… the overwhelming need to escape from reality.

“HeyguysI’llberightback.” The words practically forced their way out of her mouth with such velocity that her friend’s barely noticed that she said anything at all.

Once in the restroom Ashlyn collapsed the upper region of her body onto the cold rigid surface of a porcelain sink, shallow breathing gradually became normal again and all trembling had ceased.

She held a pair of cupped palms under the chrome faucet, the cool liquid trickled to flow amid gapped fingers sending refreshing tingling sensations though her body carried by depleted veins.


The teenager stood blankly gaping at her own reflection in the mirror, her heart cracked as she felt so completely and utterly alone.

The person staring back seemed so unfamiliar; its eyes were shapeless and hollow, the color visibly drained from the skin appearing to be more of a dull shade of grey and the face was void of all emotion and character- it simply stood tall and statuesque possessing no true purpose.

Ashlyn quickly ran her hands down the thick fibers of her jeans attempting to dust off any remaining water droplets, she had just pivoted toward the door when she heard low whispers coming from the open window which stood in the gap between the basins.

As she crept her way toward the pane she could clearly make out the image of four standing figures, one of them noticeably being her sister while the others appeared quite older and cloaked in rather unusual garbs.

Careful not to make herself noticed, she gazed attentively at the scene unfolding as Dahlia handed what looked to be a small black bag to one of the older gentlemen and not a moment later the foursome quickly dispersed with little to no words exchanged.

“This looks….interesting.” Jodie let out a sarcastic sneer as she waved a hand toward the eccentrically designed building just across the street, surrounded by crowds of varied people complete with a burly bouncer guarding the entrance.

She had never been able to find comfort around any person or atmosphere which didn’t quite live up to the prestige she was used to being bathed in throughout her cushioned life.

Upon entering the club countless heads whirled into the direction of the obviously misplaced girls clad in designer miniskirts and scanty blouses.

The music thundered between the walls, pounding on various skulls which lingered throughout the gothic ambiance and statute figures adorned by undergrowth and foliage.

Lacey scaled the entirety of the room with the depth of her sullen brown eyes, “What is this place called again Cor, ‘The Garden of Death’?”

“Yeah, something like that.”

The four friends wasted no time in approaching the dance floor as Corinne had arranged to meet up with a guy she had met earlier that week.

It was nearly effortless to conform to the mood which hovered throughout the pool of sweat soaked bodies and once again Ashlyn had allowed her mind to release, abandoning her troubles while erasing both pain and contentment.

The girl felt so free as she continued to dance, her body curving melodically to the beating of her own heart, allowing the lights to saturate bare flesh and so dictating every movement. They had been out there for no more than a total of five minutes when it happened again, though this time around it was much worse.

Her throat was beginning to tighten rapidly as the entire room distorted to wave together in a blend of grey and black, the invisible entity working its way up her shallow frame crushing and smothering the very core of her being.

Her hands groped aggressively at the skin that constricted her neck, desperate to free herself from this unforeseen demise.

No one seemed to notice the girl clutching at her chest as she nearly faltered to her knees, releasing mild whimpers that were overpowered by the strong deafening music which flooded the space. Her heart thrashed violently inside, her flesh became clammy and loose in consistency, feeling as though it were right about to fall off of her bones.

Ashlyn was only allowed a few gasps of air as she weakly staggered to the less populated corner of the dance floor; walking had become increasingly difficult, it felt as though she were clawing her way up a slippery incline with each attempt failing more than the last.

After finally coming upon an area where she was able to gain a steady stance, she had managed to regain her calm after a few minutes which seemed more like countless hours.

In the aftermath that followed the attack the girl drew a deep sigh of relief, however, besides that of the obvious, there was something else unusual… she became aware of a presence so familiar yet wasn’t able to quite pin point it exactly.

In the purity of that moment all breath had abruptly depleted as a dormant heart lurched forth in her chest, she could almost sense it… it was as if the whole world had faded into colorful orbs of light that continued to sway about in strings of transcending illumination.

All at once she had been overtaken by a mixture of agony and love swirling in the pit of her soiled soul, it had been so long since this calloused girl had felt that way and with the fall of her eyelids she openly received it in its beautiful entirety.

wow. Im glad I can read fast because that chapter rocked. :D And it has been 1 year and 10 months that was a shock. And ashlyn ahs changed alot she has become plastic whil Dahlia has become quite.... odd. I reckon she was having to give those people money or something, but thats only a thought. Its great to see Ashlyn alright for once, except from what looks like panic attacks. I also noticed how you had some pictures that had you had photoshopped that looked great as usual, epecially the creepy one in the bathroom. Have a nice vacation. Great update! :)

Ugh... I really hate doing this, but the update will have to wait until tomorrow... as my lot is gone. :(
I dont even know how it happened, I was taking pictures, and then it just started loading the neighborhood as if I exited (which I didnt) and now I can't go back into the lot because it is "in a saved progress" or something like that. I have tried everything, and the 'live mode' button is permanently greyed out. :cry:
And so I have spent the last few house trying to re-build the stupid thing which has caused me this huge delay. :mean: My game must have something against me, I dunno. So I am SO sorry guys, I really did plan on having it ready tonight, everything's written, its just the pictures.... :lonely:

I know how you feel. I am having trouble with my game too. It takes forever to load. I think the fact that I have over tenthousand files in my downloads folder is to blame.

Anyway don't appologize for things you cant control. I think everyone here understands how frustrating computers can be. I could shuggest that you package all your finished sets and sims, then put them in a backup folder. That saved my back side when my comp crashed a month ago

Ashlyn’s vacant gaze sliced through the stirring crowd that was just beyond reach, it was all she could do really as moving seemed nearly impossible right then.

She quickly pressed her eyes shut once more, silently concluding that this just had to be another mindless dream haunting her psyche… at least that’s what she had hoped it to be when she heard it call out once more, coursing above various voices and uneven vibrations of bass.

It resonated vigorously within her skull, stirring and invoking thoughts long laid to rest.
She knew that voice, how could she ever forget it... and even though at one point she had hoped to hear it again, prayers for it to vanish were suddenly filling her throat.

It felt like her insides where dripping with emotion, this was so unfair, she had worked so hard to forget.
No she couldn't allow herself to go back, too much time had passed and so much had changed.

The girl cautiously pivoted her body until her shadowed eyes finally met another’s so estranged yet undeniably releasing, like that of a cherished possession rediscovered.

It was in those seconds that recollections from a past existence which had been thrown from consciousness broke through their confines and contentment swiftly became overpowered by an unsettling strife within.

I hate you.

He didn’t say a single word; he just stood there, his eyes seemed somewhat lost as they searched hers almost like something had noticeably gone missing.

“What are you doing here?!” she spat hastily, her fingernails burrowing into the soft flesh of her hips as she stood stiff.

“Wow... well I wasn't expecting to run into you...” his voice was rather quiet within the room's processed beats, much like it always had been. On the surface he seemed nearly exactly how Ashlyn last remembered him.

"You look.... different." he continued, a smile playing about in a sort of facetious manner.


Her brow sunk deeply as her eyes darkened with offense, “Yeah? Why's that?!”
She couldn't quite grasp why she was feeling the way she was at that moment, it was as if she were but a mere puppet to whatever her emotions were dictating then.

“....nothing really, never mind.”

Her teeth pressed together acting as a dam to her anger, “No, what were you going to say?!”

“Hey relax, it's just-“ Adam gave in, waving a hand in her direction as to display the obvious, “I don't know... you just seem.... different. Eh, maybe its the designer clothes, or all the heavy makeup... or maybe its the defensive attitude your carrying around. I saw you come in with those girls... you've got a posse now?”

“Oh my God, who the hell do you think you are?!”

“I’m just sayin-“

“Geez what is with you?! You think just because not everyone sees the world the way you that do they must all be below you or something...!”

“Woah, Ashlyn-“

“You know, I came here to have fun with my friends and that's what I should be doing... I don't even know why I came over to you in the first place... maybe it was the designer clothes that made me do it.” the girl continued to ramble at a mad man’s pace, completely oblivious to the surrounding attention her blatant tone was drawing.

“So Im happy, what’s it to you?!” the girl spat crossly, shrugging her shoulders in a provoking manner, “I finally have everything I ever wanted; I have money, I have friends, I have a boyfriend, and... I’m gorgeous. I’m not going to stand here and apologize for who I am just because you have a problem with it! Now why don’t you go an’ scurry off with your other surfer buddies and leave me the hell alone!”

“ASHLYN!!”

Her words had finally ceased; it was the first time Ashlyn had ever witnessed such visible hurt and anger wave over Adam’s features.

“Okay, stop. Let me tell you something…” his voice had deepened considerably as he deliberately leaned forward to demand her complete attention,
“I used to know this girl… she would sit every day in the same spot, staring out the same window. Most of the time her eyes were so lost that it was like she was trying to imagine another place or another life, but every now and then you could see a slight smile start... it was those that were the best, kind of like a when you spot a falling star. Though her smiles were so rare, even that never stopped the light that was in her eyes.
They would sparkle with a depth all their own and sometimes it was so much that they would make everything else in the background fade into a blur.
She wore her heart on her sleeve and wasn’t afraid to be who she really was or to do the things she knew were right...
I don't know what ever happened to her…”

“-You’re the one that left!” her voice cracking as she shrieked, she could feel her lower lip tremble fervently under eyes that welled with spite, “you just….left without saying a thing!”
You left the day my mother died.

Adam blew out a sigh as he tilted his head toward the ceiling, running both hands through the tousled strands of his golden hair, “I-I had to do it Ashlyn. I couldn't let myself get fired over you…”

Ashlyn’s face fell into a somewhat melancholy expression in response to the remark, her arms lifelessly dangling at her sides while her eyes wavered to the left as to outwardly demonstrate disappointment.

“I didn’t mean it like that, it’s just that-“

“Do you like always make out with your students, or was I just an exception?”the slits of her eyes tightened, pain and anger saturated her tone. She stood visibly stiffened yet internally beset with icy tremors.

A scowl slowly crept its way across his lips at the tactless snap, “Th-that shouldn’t have happened… it was a mistake and I’d take it back in a second if I could.”

“Hey, we’re all leaving to the next place… Jeremy really hates it here so-“the woman paused, turning her attention toward Ashlyn as if she had just detected the girl’s presence, “-oh, who’s this?”

“This-“ he began as if it absolutely pained him to do so, “is Ashlyn, she used to be in one of my classes…”

“Awh, how sweet!” she shrieked in a pitch so high that Ashlyn winced in pain as it sawed through her eardrum, “aww- was that when you were teaching at the school?! ‘Cause that was the stupidest-“

“Alright!” she laughed lazily, the gum smacking loudly between her teeth, “God, you can be such a prick sometimes!”

The woman turned, her image soon enveloped by the crowd loitering the entrance, nearly shrouded within clouds of smoke and ash.

“You’re right, I don’t” his tone calmly flowed from a half smile as he took two steps backward, “You take care of yourself princess.”

Not a moment later a diminishing figure was burning itself into the irises of a girl mangled amidst a twisted web of lost identity and self deception.

She just stood there, bound in a trance like state watching his presence slowly and steadily slipping away.

She desperately longed to run into his arms, she craved the warmth of his body against hers; she wanted so badly to tell him how greatly she had missed him and how deeply remorseful that she had proven herself as nothing but a burden and worthless encumbrance.

He was the only one with the pure ability to peer into her dejected spirit and the strength to summon her out of despondency.
Her heart literally ached for him while she stood helplessly inert, watching silently as he slowly faded from her life for the very last time.

By now the three other girls had made their way over to where the conflict was seen erupting, commanding more attention than intended.

“Who…was that?” Lacey questioned, her brow slightly furrowed with concern.

“Yeah-he was hot!” the blonde added, unaware of the ramification about to erupt.

“Shut up!” Ashlyn spat abruptly, slamming her palms to the sides of her skull, “I have to get outta here- we’re leaving right now!”

Jodie made a quick glance at her wrist, “But it’s only-“

“Come on!” she barked tenaciously through tightly clasped teeth, attempting to sway her friends.

“Woah, woah….hold up,” Corinne began in a firm tone with a hand planted on the waist, pervasively shaking her head from side to side, “I’m not going anywhere that doesn’t involve a hotel room and Keith… I mean, you can leave if you want but I'm staying.”

“But Corinne, you’re the one who drove, how am I supposed to get back?!”


“That’s not my problem…”

Her remaining words trailed off into an empty void while anxiety’s claws clung to Ashlyn’s fleeting hope.

It felt like the whole atmosphere was physically pulling away, the floor was beginning to take on a spongy consistency and the walls were folding inward, various faces warped in shape, resembling much like figures taken straight from an Edvard Munch painting. The pores of her body were leaking tears for escape.

She drew short uneven breaths while directing a glance toward the other two girls in hopes to gain even a tiny grain of empathy, with the only reaction being their lips swelling with a pout as they stood shrugging apologetically like a couple of cowards.

“Fine, I’ll just hitch my way then!”she tossed an icy glare at the girls, shortly before marching decisively out the exit.

For more than an hour Ashlyn drifted along the desolate city streets, smearing the tears from her eyes with soiled fingertips, sniveling pitifully in union with each step.

Some birthday this turned out to be.

The street lights overhead emitted a static hum to aid the silence amounting to be nothing more than a constant obtrusive ringing in her ears.
Empty shadows drifted despairingly between shoddy buildings and trash cans which lined the sidewalk, dwelling in eerie content beneath the glowing haze which blanketed the dense night sky in a foreboding ambiance.

None of this seemed to affect the girl whose focus seemed lost to a blank dreamy gaze, not even thwarted by recurring obscene jeers which floated from the mouths of drunkards and riffraff as they passed in dissimilar vehicles.

She slumped backward against the exterior of a vacant factory, the abrasive brick scraped into the smooth flesh of her shoulders summoning tiny flecks of blood to mix with dust stagnate amid the air.

The true weight of her actions was beginning to settle upon her head and after a short examination of her appearance it became more apparent that she was in fact, fading from herself.

When had she become so estranged and far from the person she once was, this evident by costly minimal clothing which mimicked every other girl in her school who were also grasping at straws for attention.

Every fragment of her body had denied her, each beat of her heart was false and with different shreds of identity competing for dominance would she ever again regain the privilege of being in that place of reassurance?

Nearly two hours had passed before Ashlyn bowed between the outside world and this reality in which she had created for herself, succumbing to the chill of the floor, swallowed whole by the ominous darkness spread thick throughout her well copious bedroom.

The only thing she had been grateful for was the jarring taxi trip back which, much to her relief of was safe.

Everything was turning out to be so incredibly unfair and once again it seemed as though her life was working against her.
Who knew the phrase “Be careful what you wish for” could strike with such painful irony.

Adam was right- she was nothing more than a speckle of dust being carried about and manipulated by the world around it which blends to an extent that it is forgotten almost as soon as it is seen.

She slowly slid the evening’s garments from her flesh, ridding her body of the confining threads just before dragging herself along the tiled flooring into the corner of a running shower.

The liquid ran soothingly down her scarred and weathered figure in hopes to wash away the whole of her distress, dampening the sounds of sobbing with steam to blot out the tears of regret.

She had never truly wanted things to turn out this way and as each day continued to pass, the more she longed to step back through time.
It seemed so much clearer now, the sudden realization that she was never more complete than when she had felt the most empty.

Her pale eyes stung while she closed them tightly. A pocket of warm, salty tears lingered cryptically inside her throat she began to manifest an anger toward Chaz for not having finished the job while the opportunity was at hand.
At least then she could’ve been with her mother- how she had missed her so much.

The hollow echoing of tiny falling droplets kissed tauntingly at her ears, mocking nerves that contorted in depraving manners within which had this broken girl feeling as though she were mourning her own death.

A subtle rapping gaining in pitch beckoned for her from the bedroom door jolted the young girl from the morbid spell.

While ghastly muses of the dark nature still crawling freely through the corners of her mind, she drew herself from the shower stall, nearly stumbling in her step from the liquid beneath her feet.

“Uh, Just a sec!” her voiced strained in response to another four knocks, she couldn’t think of the slightest reason why anyone would still be awake as it must have been around three in the morning.

A quick towel to the hair just before pulling on the first things which came into view, she ambled rather quickly to the door.

About half way there she could easily make out a familiar car engine idling, followed by a short slam just outside the window. The girl shook her head in dismissal as it could've only been her sister completing her usual nightly routine.

She finally wrapped her hand round the knob and forced it open, only to see her father waiting patiently for her arrival.

He grimaced slightly when noticing the red streaks stained onto the skin of Ashlyn’s face, “Oh what’s wrong princess, why are you so upset?”

“Oh nothing, really… I’m fine!” she feigned an awkward grin… what was with everyone calling her princess tonight?

His countenance gave away his doubt, however he simply returned the smile and continued in his usual mild tone, “I… uh… see you forgot this downstairs earlier…”

“That’s Dahlia’s” Ashlyn confirmed, noting the small backpack that swung in Travis’ grasp.

“Oh. Well the real reason I am here right now is because it is your birthday, and I believe I owe you a gift.” The man slouched at the edge of her bed, patting the spot next to him with a tiny black box wedged between his fingers.

The container creaked as it opened to reveal a small yet beautiful pink diamond ring. She slid it on her finger and watched as sparkles danced about the glowing object.

“I remembered that pink diamonds were your mother’s favorite,” he added quietly, “I figured you would most likely enjoy them too…. God, you look so much like her.”

Ashlyn didn’t know whether to smile just then or burst into a torrent of tears.

She had never once gained courage to ask what had really happened between Heather and him, though the interest had pricked her heart constantly since her advent to this strange land.

“Well I’m off to bed... have a goodnight and happy birthday.” He whispered, flashing his brightest smile back to the girl as he gently shut the door.

For the next few moments she sat happily admiring the beaming jewel adorning her finger when the small knapsack, still placed on the floor, threw itself intrusively into view.

She released a sigh when she thought of Dahlia still eluding capture to this day and so proceeded to remove the bag from the room, but in lifting the zipper weakened under pressure and snapped abruptly, spilling its contents onto the floorboards.

A quiet gasp seized Ashlyn’s throat at the site of the various gems and ornaments which garnished the flooring… she knew that there was no way any of those could’ve actually belonged to Dahlia.

It was then that it hit her, just as an enigma unfolding to bringing clarity; everything was beginning to add up: sneaking out at strange hours, the peculiar men she had spotted earlier that day, her withdrawn conduct… every odd occurrence- it was all beginning to make sense.

A chill had released itself into Ashlyn’s bones, her heart quavered rampantly, squeezing with a disquiet which had never been known to her and as if by an unseen presence she had been awoken into an indescribable malevolence.

The frantic teen grabbed her cell phone and pounding her fingertips in a sequence to dial her sister… only to hear its ring tone chiming from Dahlia's bedroom at the end of the hallway.

Time was swiftly evaporating and desperation clung to each breath, there was no one else to turn to, she needed to find her for there was an evil lurking in the air tonight- if there was ever a moment to be faithful to her intuition it was now.

Oh wow, what an update! It looks like what had happened between Ashlyn and Adam is officially over, its look she doesn't want a bar of him, sad actually when you think about it, he was really a good influence on Ashlyn.

As for Dahlia, it looks like she's been doing some midnight thieving, tisk, tisk :no: I hope Ashlyn is able to put her into her sister's place, it looks like Dahlia needs a good kick up the bum lol.

Hopefully Ashlyn does return to her normal self, I don't know if that will ever happen, but it would be lovely if it was.
