This a little fun thing that popped in my head the other day and I decided t make it a contest to see how creative we can all get! :D
GENDER SWITCHED!

:report: Story: :report:
You, a sim of any gender were walking down the street breathing fresh air, when suddenly you got abducted. Everything went black and when you woke up you found yourself back in your house with a horrible headache. Thinking that you are pregnant, because you know alien abductions never end up good, you get up to go to the bathroom and you pass by the mirror and...OH HORROR! You've been gender switched! And whatever technology aliens use, there are no scars or anything! You look you were always a that gender just happen to think opposite of yourself.

:mod: Rules: :mod:
*You must choose a famous sim from any neighborhood. By that I mean you need pick people like Don Lothario, Pascal Curios, Titania Summerdream and etc. Basicly a well known, original Maxis sim.
* They must be adult! So if you wanna pick a teen sim, Age them up via insim or whatever else you prefer. Same applies to elders, if you wish.
* Picture editing is allowed(brightness/contrast)
* These are not transsexual sim. They are completely gender switched. For that this is what you need to do, In another neighborhood clone, Don shall we say, then with SimPE switch his gender. If you don't know how to work with the program, make a female Don in CAS, However keep as accurate as you can. That is the only Time you can use CAS.
* Custom content is allowed of any sort. Hair, Nails, make-up and etc.

Oh, I love your idea!
Do you know if there's anywhere we can find the id numbers for the ingame sims so we can just double click them in the neighborhood folder and have them loaded into simpe that way? Ever since I got M&G, I usually give up on simpe after waiting 45 minutes for it to load.
But I'm gonna go try and figure out a way to get one of them Caliente tramps gender switched. That could be interesting.

I figured out another way to get the job done . . .
I spawned an infant with the tombstone of l and d, sent him on a growing spree and got this:

Is this a close enough match? The only thing I altered on him after he grew up was to give him hair that matched Dina's.

Also, what is the photo limit? The ap guide only says "any other shots" and so it leave me wondering what you're really looking for.

You need 4 main shots in the application. Any other can be what ever you want BUT sticking to the story line of the ap. Like a free shot of sims being shocked, or feeling the boobs( or whatever you want)

I like to take walks alone in the park, when ever I can find an afordable nanny to watch the kids. My oldest doesn't really need a nanny, but I need someone to help keep him straight. So, the park is like my mental medicine. It's my quick fix. But on this night, it was different. Something wasn't quite the same.

Sims 3 doesn't have anything similar to the tombstone of L and D? If it does, that would work great to spawn an opposite gender infant.

Guys, to gender switch a Sim in Sims 3, simply:
~ Take the Sim to a dresser/wardrobe
~ In CAS, click on the (...) button by their icon at the bottom of the screen
~ Save the Sim to the Sim Bin

Then in a fresh CAS screen:
~ Click on the 6 heads at the bottom of the screen
~ Scroll through the characters until you find the one you saved
~ Select them to make a copy of that Sim
~ Hit the other gender's button, and it will change gender of the Sim.

This method does work so if you have any problems.... you're doing it wrong. :)

On the way home he passed a not so pleasant neighborhood. Then Malcolm heard behind the buildings someone calling his name with a very weird accent and he felt like he had to respond.

Round 1 - Going out in the world.

It took you a while to admit the fact you are a chick/dude now. You decide to explore the world and maybe being a new and different person is an advantage? Since you have no clue about opposite gender fashion and styles, you dress in the most ridiculous clothing you can find( for guys who are now girls, random mom's clothing, for girls who are now guys dad's outfit) and you go out thinking this is how it is supposed to be( same applies to make up. You have no clue what you are doing, so you look like a rainbow) While you are out looking like a parrot, you bump into an elderly shop keeper( if you are currently female shop keeper is guy and visa versa) That seeing you...'parrotness' offers to help find something for you that suits beautiful lady/gentleman like you.

I am looking for 4 pictures and up. First showing you sim browsing through their closet, second them dressed ridiculously, third them bumping into shop keeper and him?her being shocked, and forth you character in their new clothing that fits their style. Any other picture feel free to be creative, just fitting the story line.

Every morning I look at myself and hope that something amazing will happen. This morning started out like every other morning. I woke up, ate breakfast, and today unlike most I decided to take a walk in the park.

Next thing I knew I was lying on the floor in a daze.
"What am I doing here?" I said.

Sorry that the girl version of Darren is lighter skinned than the guy version. I made her in body shop and the darkest looked to dark.

After being scared out of my mind I decided that no matter what I had to get groceries since I have no more food in the refrigerator.
I had to get dressed. I have never been into girls fashion so, I thought to myself did my mom leave something here. Then I remembered that she did. I ran to the guest room dresser and grabbed out the outfit that she left.

I then proceeded to put on makeup. I looked in front of the mirror and thought...Dang I look hot.

I went downtown to the market where I met the old man that runs a shop. He gave me a really weird look and said I need to change my style and he would be the one to help.

We first went into a hair salon. I told the old lady that worked there that she could do whatever she wanted.

After I finished my sob fest and got ahold of myself, I decided that I needed to get out of the house in search of new clothes, and fast. Since I didn't want to be caught dead as a male dressed in a pink female polo shirt and jogging pants, I had to search through mine and my eldest sons dressers. Since I am taller and more slim (even as a guy) than my son, I had to end up wearing my jogging pants, though they were a little snug. But I did find a suitable tanktop and the vest. Hopefully people would just think that I had been out running at the park, and had stopped in at the shopping mall for some new clothes.

So, I hopped into my car and bebopped on down to the fanciest, but cheapest, botique I could find at the mall. I hadn't been shopping much as it was, so going shopping as a guy would definately be hard. Heart pounding and nerves on end, I got out of my car and headed into the shop.

This place was definately fancy. I had never been here before, so I didn't know where to look. Not wanting to cause excessive attention to myself, I got up the wits to just as the lady behind the counter for help. I startled her at first, and thought she was going to laugh, but, she then stated "been out jogging, heh?", and then with a sigh of relief, I agreed. She pointed me in the correct direction, and I started looking.

I had no idea what adult guys wore casually these days, so I caught glimpses of other males shopping. I didn't know what size clothes I wore exactly, so I just guessed. I grabbed a few tops and a couple pairs of pants and headed off to the fitting room. I didn't expect much, and dreaded even having to try anything on.

Once I stepped out of the dressing room and in front of the mirror, I was AH-MAZED! Who knew I could look so hot as a guy! Forget hot, I was straight up sexy . . . erm, in my opinion atleast! But, my hair needed some work, so I changed back into my clothes and went next door to the hair dresser.

I told the hair dresser that I just wanted a shorter, low maintanence cut. Nothing fancy. So, within just a few minuets I was all finished and ready to go back next door. I put back on the clothes I was trying and with a big smile on my face, I walked back up to the woman at the counter. It took her a second to realize who I was, but once she figured it out, she was shocked! We talked for a few minuets, then I paid for my clothes (with them still on) and started to make my way back home.

It feels kind of weird that after 5 years of slogging away in a dimly-lit cubicle, I finally have my own office. I probably look so stupid, just sitting there staring blankly around the room but I can't help it. I'm just a bit overwhelmed to be honest. Could it be that I've finally achieved something? Without having to break the law? This is the most amazing feeling. To anyone else this wouldn't be that big a deal but to me, It's like I've won the lottery eight times over. This is the second best thing that's ever happened in my life. The first was getting engaged to Angela of course.

Angela. I can't wait to tell her. But I have to wait till tonight to do so. I want to see the expression on her face. She's going to be so pleased....

To be honest it took me ages to get a grip on myself. I must have sat shaking on the bathroom floor for at least an hour before I pulled myself together enough to start thinking straight again. I realised that I had to do something. I mean, what was Angela going to think if she came in to the bathroom and found me as a woman?
I came to the conclusion that clothes were the best place to start. Maybe if I looked better, I would feel better too. I certainly couldn't keep walking around in this skimpy, black catsuit-thing that I had woken up in. I walked back in to the bedroom and being as quiet as possible, started rumaging through Angela's clothes in the wardrobe, trying not to pick out anything that I knew she really liked or that felt too feminine. I just wasn't ready for that yet.

Eventually I stood in front of the mirror in a fairly hideous pink outfit that I had never once seen Angela wear. This was mainly because as a woman, I was slightly thinner than Angela and none of her clothes fitted me very well but also because I didn't feel at all comfortable in a lot of Angela's clothes. I just kept looking at them and thinking how beautiful she looked in them, knowing how ridiculous I would look in them, even as a woman.
It occurred to me that I would have to go shopping for clothes after this.
I looked down to the vanity table beside the mirror, considering Angela's make-up bag. Maybe I should put some on. Women wear a lot of make-up right? At least it would mask how wrecked I looked...

After I was done, I decided to go ahead and call a taxi before I lost the confidence to even leave the house. This was just as well because I practically had no nails left on my right hand at this point. My nerves only increased when I looked down and saw Angela's sleeping figure on the bed. She looked so peaceful and unaware. She had no idea that I had somehow transformed in to a woman overnight. Hopefully I could get it all sorted out before she had to know anything. I bent down and kissed her forehead, then turned on my heels and left before she could wake up. I climbed in to the taxi, trying to fight away the feeling of betrayal settling in my chest.

I arrived at the local shopping mall ten minutes later, now missing most of the nails on my left hand as well. Seriously, this was why I kept my nails short as a man. Suddenly aware that people seemed to be giving me funny looks, I darted in to the nearest clothes store I could find. I must have looked even more stupid than I initially thought upon entering the store judging by the reaction I got from a sales assistant sorting through clothing rails by the shop door.

" Going to a Barbie doll convention then?" he asked, smirking at me from behind his sales rail.
It took all my effort not to snap my reply to him, " No." I said gritting my teeth. " I'm just...browsing."
The guy stood back and raised his eyebrows at me, " You know," he said flicking his eyes up and down my repulsive pink get-up, " We got a stock in a few weeks ago that you would really suit the look of."
Before I could say anything, he was sprinting down to the other end of the store, beckoning at me to follow.
Shrugging, I chased after him. Surely this stock couldn't be any worse than what I was wearing at the moment...

An hour and a half later, I found myself standing in front of the shop mirror again, only this time I was unrecognisable as the confused, pink clad figure I had been the last time. Following that shop assistant had set me on a wild goose chase all through the department store, involving new clothes, new shoes, appointments with a hair stylist and make-up artist and spending a lot of money. But, as I looked in the mirror now, it seemed to be worthwhile. The woman staring back at me had nice clothes, neatly applied make-up and pretty hair. She was definitely stylish, quite feminine even. Actually, she kind of reminded me of myself before I became female. She looked very calm, very together, as if she knew where her life was going and was in total control of it. My only worry was that she would soon discover that she wasn't, just like I had. But I forgot about it just then. For the first time since this transformation, I was satisfied and besides the shop assistant apparently had an extreme case of verbal diorrhoea that was becoming very hard to ignore.

Eventually, i told him I would think about it and left before he could start talking again. Although, I didn't like to admit it, his asking me to model had given me a really big confidence boost. In fact, as I dialled up for a taxi again, I was starting to feel a lot more positive about this whole gender swap thing. So, I still hated it and I still wanted out but maybe I could make it work until I did get out. Maybe it was all going to be okay.
Maybe seemed like a good word at the moment.

That was affordable, so I agreed. I almost made the mistake of taking the clothes to the men's dressing room, but caught myself in time. I'm actually expected to go into the women's dressing room! I may buy clothes more often now!

I was just in the emergency room a couple of days ago, and it turns out that I have a small BENIGN brain tumor. The neurosurgeon is out of his office until Tuesday, so I will be calling then for an appointment to get it removed. (They said that they can probably get it all with a Gamma Knife procedure.) I am on the prayer chains at my church, my parents' church, my husband's parents' church, and my sister's church, and I have vicodin for the pain. I'm hoping that I will be able to continue with the contest, but if I vanish without warning it is not because I lost interest and was too rude to tell you.

Round 2 - Getting used to yourself.

Now that you are all set in new style that fits you the most, you walk out the store and wonder: what is it that guys/girls usually do during their free time? While walking around trying to figure out what the heck you gender does you bump into an old friend(for girls it is a female friend, for males male friend) who doesn't recognize it is you( since you have a different gender). When they ask you for a name you quickly make up a name and you say that you just moved in the town and you are new around here. They agree to help you out by showing around the town and also showing how real men/women partay! :D

Rules:
Only one: THEY MUST BE FRIEND! Not ex lover, not current lover. Friend. Plain simple friend who doesn't realize you are now a female/male.

Pictures:
I am looking for 4 and up. One of your sim walking out the store and wondering what to do. Second them walking down the street and bumping into a friend. Third their friend showing them around the town(if Pleasantview has any interesting tourist attractions xD) and forth them in the club chilling like ladies/gentlemen do. She grinned. "Great! I'm getting a bit tired of all the vampires. They say that cult is all a hoax, and the leader is just pretending to be a vampire, but there have been some genuine disappearances. SO if you were the sort who likes to hang out in cemeteries and watch ghosts, I was going to lie and say we haven't got one! Or just leave you on your own."

If I'm new in town, I had better ask... "What cult?"

"Oh, that's right! You're new! There was a cult that sprang up a couple of years ago under a guy named Vladimir Kelvaris. Immortal Darkness. They have services on the second floor of the Kiss of Darkness night club. First floor is safe, as long as you avoid certain people. Just DO NOT go upstairs. And if you get a special invitation from the management, RUN! Unfortunately, it's about the only club in town, although the new Dance Palace is opening soon, and there are a few amateur venues around."

"And you think he is really a vampire?"

"I know he is. I can see them. Just because you occasionally see him during daylight doesn't mean much. Notice he's either meditating or celebrating the sunset. Mind over matter does work."

"So is there anyone else I should avoid?"

"Well, for entirely different reasons, if you see a guy in a black dress shirt and the most hideous pair of green plaid shorts in existence, you should probably avoid him too. Unless you like being groped in public in the most inappropriate places and at the most inappropriate times. Somebody should really add the word 'friends' to his dictionary. He seems to think that female friends are automatically girlfriends. I finally had to tell him to go away because I never wanted to see him again. I didn't want to; he's a real sweetheart when he tries. But I got tired of all the advances, and he never understood that 'no' means 'no', not 'later' It's a real shame. I wish we could have stayed friends."

Fortunately, she completely misunderstood why I was suddenly blushing. At least now I know why she dumped me.

That night we went to the Kiss of Darkness. She stepped in and looked around. "Ok, do not make eye contact with that guy manning the coffee bar. That's the vampire. But the rest of the room is human. We should be able to enjoy ourselves as long as Mr. "Prince of Darkness" doesn't get too interested." She handed me a bulb of garlic. "And if he does get interested, you can always use this. Or just hide until sunrise." She led me to the bar. "You're new, so I'm buying the first round. Tell me how you like the town so far."

Little bland on the pics and story. You also forgot to include a picture of her wearing the ugly outfit, you only showed the new one and the man's one she was previously wearing. Also it wasn't really realistic that when she went to the salon she got longer hair than what she had in the first place, unless it was a wig.

So I'm feeling a little bit more confident with my female self leaving the shop with a new found feline swagger. I look FINE. I would date me. Now I just need some more fine women to hang with and I'll have this chick thing down. I retreating home and attempted to beautify myself, and not recreate the parrotness from the morning.

Lisa and I went for dinner, at this new resturuant called Tre Chic. We bothered ordered something called 'viande hachée' which was just a tre expensive hamburger.

Then she taught me the 'fine art' (her words,not mine) of the subtle checkoutbartendersbehind routine. I honestly didn't see the intrest but acted enthusiastic anyway. It was pretty fun, seeing courting from the alternative perspective.

We then visited the community center, filled with every generic disco nostaligia light imaginable.. We ripped up the dance floor with our -cough- divalicous (her words, not mine) moves as the oldie's watched on.

Oh, glad to hear we have until tomorrow - Monday - to finish up our rounds. I have had a super busy week and every time I loaded my Sims game, something or someone came up and I had to shut down my pc and get back to real life. Hopefully, I'll get it done today now that most of our family excitement is over for the week.

I'd like to see our application scores, too. Just for funsies.
And, judges, sorry my shopkeeper was the wrong gender. I don't know where I missed that in the round description. Just remembered that the person was supposed to be older and since my Sim was hitting a guy store, I made a white haired guy to run the shop. But thanks for the comments and scores. Hey, I had a hectic last week, and of course, vanished from mts for 5 days. I was on vacation. When I got back I installed AL (i just got it....) and thought it'd be fun to start all over, thus deleting all my saved stuff. None the less, I had forgotten about the fact that I wouldn't be able to continue in any contests I was still in. Long story short: R2 was due yesturday, and I no longer have any of the things in my game, including sims, that I did have. Sorry I have to quit, but, my schedual isn't going to be getting any shorter any time soon. (My parents purchased a vacation spot, so we're having to go back and forth on the weekends to clean it up.) It was a fun contest though :)

I couldn't go home because Angela would be there and I could hardly turn up at work as a woman. I guess being bored and anxious must have taken it's toll because as I heard the shop door click shut behind me, I jumped and turned abruptly on my heels to face the shopper. Within about twenty minutes, I had called to cancel my taxi, Carrie had called to cancel her yoga class and we were both sitting in a nice, little lake-side cafe, drinking...white wine spritzers. (Carrie's idea - I had forgotten that she wasn't the most conventional of people.)

We sat for about an hour just chatting about life and making up for lost time. (It was just a shame that Carrie thought I was someone else.) In a way though, pretending to be Ellie was easy because I went to school with her and Carrie so I had a vague idea of what she was like. I also realised how much I had missed Carrie over the past few months. We used to be really good friends but she and Angela hated each other with a passion, so we ended up seeing less and less of each other until our friendship had pretty much petered out. Carrie's amazing really, she's really fun to be with, really interesting and really caring. I went through quite a few rough patches as a child and she was always there to support me. She must have been quite hurt, to think that I'd chosen Angela over her...

In any case, at least she seems to be enjoying herself at the moment. After we finished our drinks, she insisted on dragging me to what she described as 'one of my favourite haunts in town.' This turned out to be a very upmarket, gothic-themed nightclub. Normally, going to a nightclub would be my idea of hell but tonight, maybe because I was a different person it seemed to be really fun. It was just nice to relax for a few hours, forget about my current situation and have fun with a friend...

I have no idea how I ended up dancing but I did. I think I was a little drunk at the time. But y'know, I'm glad I danced! It felt good that I was with Carrie and doing something fun! For once it was nice not to have to be all serious, hard-working and responsible! The only thing that was spoiling the happy mood was the huge block of guilt rising in my chest, thinking of Angela sitting at home, assuming I was at work, earning a living for us. Maybe she would be making dinner or listening to some newly-discovered indie band on MTV... She might even be doodling little bridal dresses on the back of the phone bill again...

I just wish I didn't feel so torn...Considering I'm also a man trapped in a woman's body, pretending to be another woman, is that too much to ask?

Yes...
In the middle of all the other unexpected expenses (like "All neurologists are neurosurgeons, so don't worry about the fact that we have no neurosurgeons in network.") we didn't have enough money to pay the internet bill. Again. We are facing shut-off sometime after next Tuesday. We don't get paid until that Friday, and that paycheck is being eaten by rent. So, while this is -not- a good time to be out of contact with everybody, it's going to happen. But I'm going to be here as long as I can.

Round 3 - Making Friends

It has been few days since you met up with your friend and had girl/guy night out. You figure that you will probably be stuck as a man/woman for a while or maybe even forever, why not start from scratch? You get dressed and go out to the world. You aren't just going out, you are going on the hunt for potential boyfriend/girlfriend! Yes it is very weird to be looking for a guy/girl, since you once were a guy/girl. But first you decide to see your current boyfriend/girlfriend, and maybe recap on things. Sadly they don't swing that way. Disappointed you go out to look for an opposite gender friend.

I am looking for 4 pictures. You sim walking around and thinking, then getting dressed then meeting up with their ex. Last one should be of them meeting their new date. Any other feel free to be creative, but sticking to story line.

New Boyfriend/girlfriend can be whatever appearance you want :D Same applies to exes.

I tried to meet up with the one woman who never actually told me to get lost. We had a very nice conversation until I casually asked if there was any possibility of there being something more between us. She was horrified. "I have no idea what gave you the idea that I swing that way, but I most definitely do NOT!" Then she discovered she was late for an urgent appointment and had to run. I know that excuse; I've heard it enough times before. Usually just before they never speak to me again. :(

That left me with some thinking to do. My body was telling me that I am very much a female, so being attracted to women makes me gay. I'm not interested in being gay, any more than Jan was. I suppose I'm probably the world's first gay homophobe. So I suppose I should probably start looking at other guys. And while I'm at it, I should stop thinking of them as "other" guys. I'm female, so they are just "guys". Or maybe just give up completely? Yeah, right. I don't have what it takes to stop looking.

That night I went back to the Kiss of Darkness to look around. As I was sitting at the bar a man approached and asked if he could buy me a drink. He was obviously not entirely human, and I found myself oddly attracted to him. I had the presence of mind to pull out the garlic I had been given earlier, but he laughed. "I don't blame you for being wary around here, but I'm no vampire. Call me Caerdyn."

We spent quite a lot of time together, and he finally asked me if I wanted to dance with him. Of course the dj took that moment to switch to a slow song, so we ended up slow dancing together and ignoring everything in the room around us. We were still together when the club closed, so we spent some more time sitting on the lawn outside the club watching the sun rise. Neither of us wanted to discuss our background, but we agreed that we seem to belong together.
