Do you think you have what it takes to try something... different? We're not looking for models, we're not looking for the next Miss Something. We're looking for the perfect doll. In the shape of a Sim.

They're just dolls, they're not real and they don't have a will of their own. They only have what you assign to them. They can only be what you want them to be. So make them and use your imagination to its fullest.

From barbies to Asian ball jointed dolls, all are welcome. Even Blythes if you think that you can make one.

If you think that you have the sim for this or can make the sim for this, show your skills and compete!

To the contestants
In this contests you will judged on three things: originality, over all presentation and compliance to the assignments. Photoshopping skills are not a must but they earn you a point or two in the overall presentation.

Everyone who applies and keeps to the rules stated in the starting post will go to round one and from then on there will be eliminations. The number of eliminations will depend on the number of contestants.

The length of each round will be five days and please put the name of your doll in the reply's title.

GLAMOUR
The spotlight is on you, or rather your doll. Jewels and extravaganza galore. Does your doll have what it takes to pull something truly glamorous? Evening wear for all and the setting is your choice, whether it be a party or a red carpet event. There may be other dolls, but like always the spotlight has to be on your entry here.


IT'S NOT A JOB, IT'S A CALLING
I'm deviding you in three groups, each of these groups gets a profession they have to portray with their doll as good as they can.

TRIriana and fransica, your profession is a doctor. Any kind of doctor, from surgeon to GP.
Corvidophile and Connectzeedots, your profession is in the military. Drill instructor to drillee and anything in between.
emszii and malaygirl, finally, your profession lays in law enforcement. Cops and robbers, only you are the cops.

You make a doll simply like you'd make a sim in CAS. Only this time, they don't have to be über realistic. Big eyes, small noses, all is good. Plus, BallJointed Dolls you'd use a ball joint skintone. One that I recommend is this skintone (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=225411). Does this make sense? :spin:

Dolls before they are customized, that's what we're after with this shot. Strip them of all custom content except for the skintone and the eyes and replace them with what Maxis provided. The hair, the make-up and yes, even the clothes. Out right torture, isn't it? Don't worry, we'll fix it. The setting, however, can be anything you want it to be.

If you're using replacements for make-up or anything, please move them out of your downloads folder for this shoot. You can move them back in afterward :) Also make this a solo picture.

Remember that I said we would fix it? Dress up the doll, go crazy with the make-up and make her/him into what you want the doll to be. Glamorous, fantasy. This is to put your imagination and originality to the test.

Cosplay, it almost immediately conjurs up images of costumes you'd usually see in an anime or a manga. So will we. Since originality is a very big component in this contest I will not limit you too much. I will give you a title and it's your task to select a character from this genre and dress your doll as good as you can (it doesn't have to be a photographic resemblance).

And as an additional note on the Cosplay shoot: they don't have to portray the main characters per say! I realize that with Tsubasa there is only one female main character, but there are several recurring females. Or you could try and cross-dress? ;)

For those who were grouped with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: the main girl's name is Sakura, she's the version of a different dimension from Sakura Cardcaptor. You might want to take a look at this list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsubasa:_Reservoir_Chronicle_characters#Crossover_characters) for a comprehensive collection of which character made an appearance in Tsubasa. It's basically one big crossover story of, as far as I can see now, all of CLAMP's works.

I'm mdeviding you in three groups, each of these groups gets a profession they have to portray with their doll as good as they can.

TRIriana and fransica, your profession is a doctor. Any kind of doctor, from surgeon to GP.
Corvidophile and Connectzeedots, your profession is in the military. Drill instructor to drillee and anything in between.
emszii and malaygirl, finally, your profession lays in law enforcement. Cops and robbers, only you are the cops.
