I dunno why, but there isn't a thread in here for The Fray, which is so wrong...so I thought I'd start one.
I heard about The Fray a few years back, when I caught their MV for Over My Head (Cable Car) on Fuse's, Oven Fresh block. Ever since I've been totally obsessed and in love with them. I went straight to iTunes and bought How To Save a Life, and my life hasn't been the same since. They're so inspiring, and everything they play really comes from the heart, and being a writer and an emotionally oriented person, I really fell for The Fray, their music and how well it voiced my feelings and at times my frustrations.
I wonder if anybody feels this way too, or if and how they've touched others out there with their songs about faith, love, heartbreak, and family. Especially with their recent release, and self titled album The Fray, my love for them has deepened, and I plan to see them live very soon to support them even further than I already have, 'cause to me, they're truly one in a million in a rather mediocre industry, and they deserve it.
My Fav. Songs:
Say When (Possibly the most epic song about love ever, not only are the lyrics absolutely brilliant, but the composition and production is just spectacular!)
Look After You (Never has a song given me goose bumps as many times as this, the violins are absolutely marvelous in the end of this song. Plus it reminds me of my boyfriend. :) , who I miss dearly. He always looked after me, no matter what.)
Never Say Never (Such a deep song, a truly lyrically perfect interpretation of a rocky, rollercoaster kinda love, but the biggest thing to take from it is that a relationship takes time, and to never give up or give in.)
How To Save a Life (When a very close high school friend passed away, this got me through it. Though it took a few thousand plays to get to where I am now, but everytime I listen to it now-a-days, it has me thinking about the good things rather than the bad.)
She Is (A song that proves that no matter how hard you try, love is a tricky thing, and how you never know what's there standing right in front of you...until you open your eyes and realize.)
