[MAC] No Custom Content Enable Window

Hi,
when I start up my game I don't get the 'enable custom content' window that should pop up, and on this page:

I don't have the option in the top right hand corner.

I do have my downloads folder in the correct spot, as well as have my files unrar and unzipped. Some cc mods like Insimenator and default replacements are showing up, but that's all.

I just have the base game and I installed the combo patch from aspyr.

Any suggestions?

There is an option to have that window not appear. You must have checked that box at some point. You need start the game and go into options (the three dots) and then game options (the gears icon). In the top right is the place to choose whether to show the custom content screen at startup.

Thank you for your reply, but under my game options (the gear icon) I don't have the 'display custom content at startup' option. It's just not there. I already posted a link to the picture and that option simply doesn't exist. That's where my problem is.

Oh I'm having the same problems as yours. I just got the game installed last night but couldn't find the option for the custom content in the game. Is there any issue relating the missing option? Do i have to re-install the game?

The only thing that comes to mind is that it was added in a later EP. You might try asking Aspyr which EP added it. I honestly can't remember. I do remember having the blank area in the upper right at first.

Still, even without that option, CC should appear and work right. What's not working? Do you have the CEP installed? Lots of stuff needs the CEP to show up. Is the CC base game only? Many, many items that would seem to be base game items are not because their GUID has been changed in a later EP. This happened with Pets particularly.

Yeah, I have base game capable cc and CEP, but only cc that changes the default meshes are appearing.

It's unfortunate, but the game is definitely fun, even without all my cc. I just hate the hair and clothes.

If you have base only you cannot have your Downloads folder subfoldered. Do you happen to have them subfoldered? And when I had base only I had to have genetic type stuff in the SavedSims folder.
