I'm having a problem with modular stairs, after Mansion and Garden (RESOLVED)

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but after I installed Mansion and Garden Stuff I can no longer place modular stair onto stages from the second story. I wanted to know if it was Maxis's fault, or if perhaps Scriptorium is to blame. I'm not sure it is custom content because everything was fine untill M&G. I just thought I'd post here and see if anyone else was having the same problem, if I am the only one then I will know for sure it is a CC issue.

I figured posting my problem here is better than The sims 2 site because, I asked them a question a year ago and they still haven't gotten back to me.

Try placing the stairs with moveobjects on. This is an AL bug, I don't know whether it's in M+G too but it sounds like the same thing.

I tried move_objects on...but it still won't let me.....I'm very sad about it... I loved making modular stairs change directions

Is there anywhere I can request a bug fix? I know MTSi doesn't have a request forum anymore.

Are these stairs from the game or are they custom? Have you tried without any cc? And exactly what error are you getting? Are you leaving enough space open with floor tiles? If you have custom stairs without the needed script file/incorrect script file they also won't place.

This is an AL and/or M&G bug, and they do place with the moveobjects on cheat, both EA and custom. So this sounds like a cc issue you have and not the game.

Did you type in move_objects on like that? Because that is incorrect. It is moveobjects on.

I'll try the other cheat code and see if it works...

They are maxis stairs.

I deleted old stairs to move them back a few spaces...so I know they had enough space.

If that doesn't work I will try deleting all custom mod stairs, but I don't think that is it because I only have 2 custom modular stairs and they always workd b4.

I have used moveobjects on and the stairs work fine now. Thanks you ver much for the help. I had no idea I had been using the wrong cheat code.
