So i didnt know that Klanly's cheat menu hack clashed with awesomemod and now my game cant even get past the loading screen before crashing.
I cant find the package file anywhere, i dont have a mods folder i just double clicked on it when winRAR came up. i really dont want to re-install the game =(

[1] hmmm, double check and make sure you don't have a mods folder.
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 <-- usually there.
[2] Then go back to where it you downloaded it, and see if they have any uninstall instructions or see where it places the mod so you can remove it your self.
[3] Check and see if the mod and uninstall itself.
That is all I can say since I don't have this mod.
Good luck!

Did you back up the previous .dll file before you replaced it with klanly's? i've never used this mod as i use indie, but i just read about it on another thread, and apparently it has a .dll file that needs to overwrite the original. if you didn't, then you're gonna have to track that down somehow and replace it. then just delete the .package file and it should be gone. may help to delete all the cache files in the documents folder, too.
edit: wait...you say you don't have a mods folder. so care to explain how you got awesome mod working without it? my guess is you're looking in the documents folder, and it isn't in there.
also, if you double clicked the file and it opened winrar, that means you're re-opening the .zip or .rar file again, which is useless. you may as well delete that file, so you don't get mixed up with it. double clicking the actual .package file should not open winrar.

I have the installer monkey, so double clicking it (when WinRAR appears) downloads it into my game.
and i've looked in my sims 3 folder, i cant find "mods" anywhere

WHICH sims folder are you looking in? If you don't have a mods folder, NONE of your downloads would work except .sim3package ones. And seeing as how one of your mods is causing an issue, you definitely have a Mods folder. Follow ImperialModder's shortcut and it should be in there.

Karasu, you understand that in a standard game installation, there are two The Sims 3 folders? One is in your Documents path. There will be no Mods/Packages folder there. The other is in the Program Files path, provided by ImperialModder above. That is where Mods/packages should be. Are you looking in the correct path?

Oh, and just so you know, awesome mod does the same thing the klanky cheat menu does. It's had that feature since the beginning, it's just turned off by default, the option for it is called something like Debug Menu (experimental, unsupported) or something like that, near the bottom of the config list.
