View Full Version : Footprint and slots problem with 2x3 table

Hi.

I made a new "table" (in fact it is an altar) cloned from a 3 tiles table. I created new OBJDs, new OBJfs, so the table have now 6 tiles (2x3).

First problem.
As usual when I extend the number of tiles, I added the line "My flags Set flag Literal Do NOT use Maya Model Footprint". But, I don't know why, this time it did not work. Sims can walk between the two rows of 3 tiles. It is like there were two tables instead of one. Why the modification of the Function Init is not considered ?

Second problem.
I would like that the slots (0,1), (1,1) and (2,1) disappear. I just want to leave the others.

Can you help me please ?

Jim.

hmm, that does sound odd, and without seeing your object I am not sure how to fix this. I think it sounds like you have at least one routing slot in the middle of the table now. It may be best to post this object in the Repair Workshop.

TheJim, check that you don't have any "Allow Person Intersection" flags in the init as well. They will override the "Do not use Maya Footprint" flag. :)

Thanks for your answers :). There is no "Allow Person Intersection" flags in the Init Function. I have attached the file concerned.

I don't know why I'm not able to edit my last post.

Okay, a few thoughts:
- Can you tell me which of the objd/objf combinations are still traversable?
- Your original object had quite a lot of slots, and your new tiles are referencing those same SLOT files. Are the new tiles supposed to have behaviour attached to them with these slots, or is that accidental?

- In fact, the Sim can't walk through the tiles but between the two rows of 3 tiles.
- It is accidental : I don't want 3 new slots, I just want the 3 originals.
