Turning double beds to single beds--how?

I've got a couple of double beds I've downloaded on other sites, and I'd really like to turn them into single beds, but I've no idea whatsover how to do this. I'd appreciate pointers, tutorials, or anything suchlike.

If the creators are still active, I would ask them first if they will be making one and/or if it's ok for you to take their mesh and make one.

Then follow the tutorials for object creation in this forum. You will need to clone a single bed in simpe, remesh the double into the single, fix any mapping, then import the mesh into your new package. The start to finish tutorials will work well, they are for tables but the same principles apply to beds.
