Recoloured pools?

Is it safe to place pools that have recoloured walls and bottoms in uploaded lots? Will people who only have the core game still be able to install it, or will the pool cause it to error?

I'm unsure of which EP allowed pool walls to be recolored, but when you build a lot anyone who downloads it will be required to have the EP's you have installed when you build it.
