Need Help To Build Roof

I've built my house and I need some tips on how to build a barn style roof that is also high enough to act as an attic too.

Expansion packs I have are: University, Nightlife and Open For Buisness.

Take a look at the Roofing Tutorials (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Tutorials:Roofing_Tutorials) in the Wiki, there are barn style/bigger attic roof ones by plasticbox. However without Pets you won't be able to have individual roof slopes, see the Game Help Cheats (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Cheats). However, I think this method (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=344816) for TS3 works for TS2 as well.
