Sims 3 Package Request

I was just reading some of the Sims3Pack vs. Package debates. I have 963 MBytes in my game/packages folder and 133 MBytes in my documents/downloads folder. All I'm using is the base game with 1.8.25 updates. I have noticed my Sims collect their deeds again. The game is starting to slow down the second when I pop back into a lot from simwhere else. What if someone wrote a program to screen the Packages to help weed out unused or outdated packages? If clothing show it on a model. If one of my Sims is wearing it now then that should be a keeper. If it's a mod /not clothing it may not function in the update I have. Such a thing should have a database that all simmers can contribute to.
