View Full Version : How can I be sure everything gets deleted?

Good evening to everyone,

I am attempting to clear my oversized Downloads folder of all the custom content I downloaded back in the day and that I don't use anymore. I found the best way for me to do that is by going in-game and deleting them from there since I can actually see the object/recolour and decide whether I want to keep it or not (I tried using the Clean Installer but it only shows textures). So my question would be, can I be sure that everything is removed this way, including recolours when I delete a mesh? How can I identify a recolour that's not associated to a mesh anymore?
If not, can anyone suggest a better way to make sure I get rid of all the things I don't need cluttering up my game anymore?

Thank you :)

Recolours won't be deleted. However, you can use the DDO (available from Delphy's profile) to list your files according to type - with one of those types being orphaned (meshless) recolours. You can also preview and delete files from within the DDO. :)

Well, I've cleaned up my downloads from ingame (without deleting every recolour, just the object) and launched DDO and checked the box for Orphans but it doesn't show anything although I'm sure I have some meshless recolours there. Any idea why they might not be showing up?
