Does anyone have the link to the buy/build mode brick wall that creates the rowhouse illusion?

Thanks.

I've never heard of that (although that would be a good idea). However with the LotAdjuster (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=384656), you can make some decent looking "Row Houses" on seperate lots (tutorial) (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=286909) or if you have AL, than you can make a series of town houses that work as apartments instead on the same lot.

Can`t you just build a wall to the edge of the lot? I know you cannot build walls *along* the edges, but I`m pretty sure that they can be built *to* the edge if they`re perpendicular to the edge.

Alternatively, someone could make a *fence* that *looks* like a wall [fences *can* be built along lot edges], but you`d be severely limited in your ability to match the "paint" to "real" walls.

No, you cannot just build a wall to the edge of the lot; the game won't allow you to put any walls on the outer tile. That's why we added the "shrink" feature to the LotAdjuster.

Rowhouses also need to have the roof on the outer tile of the lot; walls aren't really enough. Plus, you can't put windows and doors on fences.

The two suggestions given by rome_raven are the best options.

My apologies. Perhaps I was remembering Sims *1*, or perhaps I was just having a "brain fart". :p Sorry for the misinformation. I trust Mootilda on this more than I trust my own memory, as she has researched the issue extensively, and I have not.
