Hmm I'm not sure what I was thinking... but after looking at end tables in the dl section it seems they are really that big. I have been spending way to much time creating and not playing the darn game. :)
I tried deleting this post but I'm not allowed.
Edit
Turns out I do have a problem with this end table. I cant get my lower slot to work properly. When I go to place an object on the lower shelf it sinks through... could someone please help me?
See...

Turns out I do have a problem with this darn table. I'm starting to feel like such a pain in the butt with all my questions. Sorry all.

Maybe you can't delete your own posts here. Dunno. Well I would love to look at the slot on your table, however you zip is empty. :)
If you have made changes to the cres (slot heights) then make sure to rebuy the table if placed on a lot. Look in the cres to make sure the height is in there, this is the z height. Also make sure the text list has the slot name. And the SLOT resource has an entry for the slot name and points to the line in the txt list that you added. Otherwise a new zip with the actual table in it would be lovely. :p .

:D whoops. I uploaded the file again.
I added a descriptive name to the STR# file (deco 1m). I am only adding one extra slot and I adjusted the other slot... I had to make my end table smaller. I then went to the SLOT file and added another slot? (is that what we call the little box there) made sure I selected container and copied the info from the other slot. Hit commit then went over to CRES and did all the steps in your tutorial. I know I am doing something wrong... I had the same problem with my bookshelf I added 12 slots and only 7 worked. I finally gave up on the shelf since I only made it for the tutorial.
Once again thanks your a great help.

Gotta love typos!
The name in the STR has a space in deco 1m and the cres one does not. Not even sure if spaces are allowed. Change the one in the STR and should work fine. Also the slot position, pretty sure whatever is in the slot is going to sit behind your table. The y-axis is set to .25 and probably should be 0. That value represents from the center of the tile, and you want it to sit in the middle of the tile since that is where your table sits. =)
Just remember...you learn from your failures mistakes. (at least that's what I like to tell myself to make all my failures mistakes seem less like...failures :giggler: )

Woohoo! You are awesome, thank you sooo much. Freaking typos. I have a feeling this wont be the last time but now I know what to look for.
I dont let all these little mistakes bring me down... I get frustrated at the fact that I feel so lost when working in SimPE and UV Mapper but that will change soon (I hope) :)
You, Moune999, and Mustluvcats have been so heplful.

rofl..clicking "agree" on HL's post doesn't do too much, does it.
If you haven't scrapped that dining set you were working on I'd still like to see the new chair and stool you did finished. :) I really liked those and as far as I saw, you were really close to being done with those.

Thanks. This little table is part of a set I'm working on. All I need to do now is add slots to the console table. Then I will try and upload them to the download section.
MLC,
I actuallly just finished the chair today. LOL I keep jumping around but I am pretty happy with the texture... I will be uploading them sometime this week (well if I get approved). I'll take a pic once I get back on the game.

Yay! :)
There is ONE thing: the back of the chair, where it meets the seat? That looks a tad "bulky". The curve is alright, it just looks like it could be thinner. Of course, that's my opinion and someone else might think differently. I still like it though.

Your right... I started the curve a little low, I should have waited until I hit the seat then started curving it. Hmm I may work on that today instead.
