View Full Version : A trap problem about Hot Springs/.

It may be a bug. When I saved the game and quit the games and I re-enter the game, when I went to Baseman Floor 2, I am surely I had disabled the trap, but when my sims entered that tegion which previously are the fire traps, the sims will catch fire immediately when the sims entered the disabled fire trap. But I stated that there is no problem about it when I haven't saved the game. What happened?
I have reset my computer for five times, reinstall this game for over ten times and redownloaded the games for two times. And I haven' t used any mods and any install plugins.
What should I do?

If you're just perpetually trapped, probably just use the resetsim command (I think it's something like resetsim <firstname> <lastname>).
I don't know if that will put them back at the base camp or back in their home lot in Sunset or Riverview.
But it'll get 'em out of that jam then you can figure out how to redisable the trap either by pushing a statue over it, disabling it, or attempting to cross it.
I don't know why your traps are acting wierd. Could just be a bizzare thing.

That particular area does indeed have traps that will continuously refire even when destroyed. So...just don't enter those traps.

I think that you can get past them by clicking on the far dive well and choosing "extinguish self" -- it might take a couple of times, but I know I got by ... or can you somehow "re-trigger" the steam traps to douse the fire ones by removing the statues and then replacing them ? You have to wait for a little while for those steam traps to work ...

I am afraid of these bugs will happen on all traps.
One important thing I know to ask ifa bug such as the food in the Master Chef Fridge will go bed in one day.
