installed most recent patch now babies born in game are discolored

I installed the newest patch a few days ago after completely having to reinstall sims and download all my custom content, etc. I also updated my graphics driver on my laptop. I don't have any trouble it seems until I have a baby born in game. My baby was literally a dark grey color on half his body. Then when I tried to force aging to see if he would "grow out of it" so to speak, he wound up with his head in his midsection and his fingers the length of his body. I'm not kidding. it freaked my kids out. So my question is, what can I do to resolve these graphical issues? I made sure my screen resolution was set at the same as my laptop screen resolution was set, for whatever that's worth. As I mentioned, I also updated my graphics driver. Also, other game problems I am having is, number one, I wasn't even alerted to the sim going into labor she just dropped it right by the pool and went to bed. then, as soon as it was born I got a notice saying it was having a birthday. what in the world?

I see two issues, here and both appear to be custom content related. I know the first one you mention is caused by bad clothing or a bad tattoo. Bad because it is for older sims and the creator made it available for babies and/or toddlers. So the game is stretching the body to fit the clothes or tattoo.
