Genensims is still up, I love there there default replacements. however, I'd like to look the notes to see if there was a way to have different default replacements for different neighborhoods.
If any has any Ideas how to do that I'd like to know. I am not absolutely sure this is the right place to put this, so admins, feel free to move it to somewhere else.

I don't think it possible just like that. You'd have to change the genetic replacements before you start the game the way you want it for the neighbourhood you want to use. The other way would be to use a AnyGame with the AnyGameStarter (available on MTS from Numenor) for every single neighbourhood.

If there are any "notes", they are probably in Madame Mim's Lab, as she's the one who was doing the geneticising and I'm pretty sure she linked to some tutorials at BogSims Institute.

There is no way to have different defaults in different hoods at the same time in the same user account. When the game starts it reads all the CC in your Downloads folder and that is what is used. If you put in 2 default sets, the game gets confused and you usually get faces from one set and bodies from another. No idea what happens if you decide to put in three. But it doesn't read CC on a "per hood" basis. It reads our Downloads folder on a "per game start" basis so that any time you fire up the game, the content inside Downloads is what is used.

If you want to run hoods using different CC, you either need to keep 2 sets of CC in separate Downloads folders and keep swapping them out each time you start the game. Another solution is to create a second user account and have the second set of CC in that account. I do this as I found that I would forget to swap out Downloads folders when I wanted to play a particular hood. So now I have a user account where I run Maxis match game and another account where the CC is more realistic. I just found that easier to manage than the constant annoyance of forgetting to swap Downloads folders.
