Regaining Opportunities

I might have accidentally sold the gem from the Tomb of Jean Necteaux/Tomb of Iseal quest in France. I've been waiting to regain the opportunity. I've tried for 30 days now, and all I get is the same bogus opportunities. Is there something I have to do to get it back? Or do I need another 30 days in France.

I kinda feel like I angered the Sims gods by selling their jewel.

If the Adventure has been registered by the game as completed then you'll probably never have it offered again, as it is probably one of the Once Per Household adventures. All the larger or more complex adventures can be done only one time by any given household. My Unlimited Adventures mod fixes this such that these adventures are opened up for doing as many times as you want.

If the adventure is not registered as completed by your sim, then I'm not sure if you should be offered it again or not.

I know for a fact its not completed, but I'll check out that mod anyways.

Joshie, I'm currently playing this adventure and I can see how you got mixed up. The gem I have in my inventory looks just like a ruby. If you accidentally sell it, the game might see the adventure where you found the gem as incomplete.
Something similar happened to me with a keystone to the dragon cave. I put it in a chest, but forgot to take it out before my sim went back home. The adventure never came up again after that.
