Pets room divider fix for apartments

When I made a custom apartment i used the room divider that came with pets and when I tested it the area I separated with it didn't count as a part of the apartment and i couldn't place objects there. I looked high and low and I couldn't find a fix for it.

Dont think there is a fix. You cannot use "fences" inside an apartment. Only way is I guess is if there is a custom object made to look like that divider but is actually a decorative object. I havent seen any though.

I don't have either EP, so I'm offering a blind guess in a form of question. What if you used the fence before the lot is zoned as an apartment? Or does it not work as intended once the lot is re-zoned?

the thing is i built the apartment and used the room divider to separate the kitchen from the living room and then in my testing i couldn't place any counters in the kitchen .I like the realistic look that the room dividers give but i just wanted to know if there is a fix for it that would allow me to use it ,And Gulhare FYI I have used it before in my apartments (not the divider the fences in general)

I thought there was a decorative version of this room divider. Alas, my google-fu truly sucks and I couldn't find one..if there is one. (I keep thinking there is!)
