I hope this is in the right area.

I have looked on here and the AO sims 2 mod site. I was just looking for a sim skin, that is...more shapely. Not necessarily obese. I was creating me and my wife in game and I have everything down, except for her body type. She is a shapely, voloptuous woman and is big boned.

Now I know there are some body types out there, but are there any that are constant? As in they keep form in all clothing (i know u have to get clothing based on that mesh, so clothing is limited) as well as keep form when nude...idc if censor bars are there or not.

Thanks. And if it is blatantly obvious and i overlooked some thread, i apologize.

in short, no

long answer: the sims uses a "modular" technique to render sims. the clothing, the face, and the hair are all individual parts. when a sim changes clothes, they don't actually have new clothes, or when they get naked the clothes don't disappear. What they do actually is just change the entire body component of the "modular" parts. When they get into pj's or into underwear, or even naked; the game just deletes the body they had and renders a new body. To make, say, a pair of jeans and shirt to fit your wife's figure, would be a new mesh. Underwear, formal, work-out, and even naked would be new meshes that would have to fit her figure as well. If you bought new clothes that weren't made for her, then the body's figure would be that of an average sim.

Warlokk, i think is how you spell it, has made an extensive set of body replacements and everyday clothes for a multitude of different female figures.

and a bit off topic, but the censor bars are generated by the game, not mesh. So turning them off will be universal. but alot of skintones are barbie-dolled.

nfarnham2001, you might want to check out the "Momma Lisa" stuff here on MTS. A quick search brought up a whole bunch of plus size outfits (http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?tag=momma+lisa&gs=0&f=38). If you have enough of those in your Downloads folder, you can create the impression that your Sim is, in fact, larger than average; make sure she has one of everything in her wardrobe (everyday, formal, undies, etc.) and she won't have to suddenly be skinny when she goes to bed!

Look for 'shower-proof' skintones, they are ones that are linked to particular meshes so they stay that shape when in the nude. Marvine and beoboxboy (sp?) did a bunch off site, but most of the ones i recall are bodybuilders or fantasy creatures.

This endeavor is totally do-able, you just need to download a bunch of CC for it. ;)
