Delete Individual Roads?

Hello, just wondering if there is a way to delete individual roads in the neighborhood view. I know there's a cheat to show or hide all of the roads, but I'm looking to just get rid of individual ones.

There's only one way, that I know of:
1) Run SimCity 4 and import the SC4 file used to create your TS2 neighborhood terrain.
2) Remove the roads in SimCity 4.
3) Run The Sims 2 and create a temporary neighborhood using the edited SC4 file.
4) Replace your neighborhood roads with the roads from the temporary neighborhood.

I suppose that you could try removing individual roads using SimPE and a hex editor.

For step 4, my HoodReplace program will allow you to replace one terrain with another, including roads, deco, bridges, etc.

Or, if you'd prefer, I can get you a tutorial for doing it manually using SimPE.

My computers kind of full from re-installing Sims 2 and I really haven't got the room for SC4 again.

Here is the tutorial for replacing your terrain after editing it using SimCity 4. Note that you'll still need to remove the roads using SimCity 4.

If you want to try using SimPE to edit the road record directly, without using SimCity 4, there is no tutorial available. Here is the description of the record which contains the road definitions:

Your best best might be to extract the NHTR record and edit it using a hex editor. Be sure to update the various counts after removing the appropriate fields.

I suppose that there is one other option: ask someone who has SimCity 4 installed to make the change to the SC4 file for you. For example, I have SimCity 4 installed and would be happy to make the change, if you'll just give me the SC4 and a picture indicating which roads you want to delete.
