Since the thread in the modding section wasn't getting any replies, I've reposted it here in hopes that it's more fitting and that I will get some help.
I have a problem with a maternal mesh I've made. When she's in her second trimester, the mesh explodes!

I'm positive that the weighting is right on the mesh, but it still messes up like this.
It gets even worse in the third trimester!

Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Is this a separate bottom?
I get exploding meshes when I make fat morphs for separates, usually if I've combined some piece of a normal mesh (like a waistband) with the fat morph. The bone weights and assignments can all be correct, but it will still go KABOOM!
You can't Frankenstein morphs, I guess. You'll probably have to use a duplicate of your normal morph and then expand the belly of that. (And if that's what you already did, then I'm not sure what else to suggest!)

Well, there's not a separate bottom, but it does have an alpha skirt. And I did expand the belly of the mesh for the alpha skirt, but the actual body mesh is just a slightly edited naked mesh. Ah well.

I've looked everywhere for a solution, but I haven't found one yet! Does anyone know what the problem here may be? I think it's because of the alpha skirt, but I'm a noob. If it is, does anyone know a solution? Please reply; I'm really desperate at this point.

It probably isn't because of the alpha skirt. It's probably just an "oops" with your mesh. Sometimes the morphs just go weird for no apparent reason, and it's easier to just re-duplicate the normal body groups (and alphas), reshape each in turn for fat/pregnant, and make sure to fix the comments. There's probably some identifiable reason that may or may not be fixable on the mesh, but it usually doesn't take terribly long to duplicate and reshape after you've gotten the hang of it.

Ok; after I'm done with my homework I'll try that. Thanks! By the way, what are the "comments" that I may need to fix?
